Chapter 17

Recap:

"I may need some time off training." I started saying. Immediately my mother looked at me with worried eyes.

"Why? Whats wrong ?" Said mother and Maryse at the same time. I smiled slightly.

"Because I'm sorta sick? You could say that." I said.

"For how long?" mom asked me worried.

"For like nine months give or take a few." I said slowly.

"Why so long?" My mother asked confused. I looked at everyone and they had the same look as my mother. I sighed.

"Because mother, I'm Pregnant!" I said impatiently.

Gasps ran out across the table after my abrupt news . All eyes were on my small yet noticeable bump. Now that I look at it -and I really mean look at it - I looked really big with this tight dress. I was technically 17 weeks pregnant.

"How- how did th-this happen? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!" My mother shouted. Which made me flinch, and made my eyes water.

"It happened when I went to get Jace back from Sebastian." I told her my voice breaking with every word that comes out my mouth.

"What? How is that possible? I didn't touch you! How the hell is that even possible?!" Jace shouted making me flinch a little.

I took a minute to realize what he had just said. I scoffed and let out a bitter, cold laugh.

"Don't act like you care." I snapped at him, slapping my hand against the table and standing up making the things on the table shake. "All you've ever done is cause me pain and harm. So either shut up or go. I only wanted you here out of courtesy, because I didn't want you to be left out. So shut your face and don't ask questions you are not entitled to ask. Got it?" I said- well more like yelled- pointing an accusing finger in Jaces direction.

Everyone stared at me wide eyed and pale faced. I sat back down again and took a deep breath then let it out and started to explain.

"Right before the situation we had with Sebastian turning the shadowhunters...

Sebastian and I got in an argument an-and he-he started hitting me and then he-he he threw me on top of the cristal coffee table and it shattered under me. He pinned my arms on top of my head and started ripping my shirt and-and he-he started touching me and kissing me and he-he undid the buttons on my pants and he-" I didn't get to finish because my mother came and took me in her arms and hugged me tight carressing my hair and rocking me side to side to calm me down. Tears raced down my face as I took deep breaths.

"Shhh it's okay honey. I know. It's okay. I understand now." She said cutting me off.

"Oh Clary. Why didn't you tell me? You could have told me. Oh my god" Jace said coming closer to my shaking body. He reached out to touch my shoulder and I swatted his hand away.

"Don't act like you care. For all I know you could have been screwing that whore when you were supposed to be doing other more important things." I said standing up and pointing towards a pale faced Ambriel.

"What do you mean by 'screwing that whore'?" Said Isabelle pointing toward's Ambriel who now had her face covered by her hands and everyone was waiting for my response.

"Oh you remember that time when I came to you Maryse concerned about Jace. Because he was never home , how he didn't want to talk to me anymore, he barely looked me in the eyes. Well it turns out that all those nights he wasn't home with me- with us-" I let out a deep shaky breath. "He was wallowing in bed with her. And do you want to know how I, myself, found out about this well kept secret? I went to search for you in Pandemonium. Why you may ask? Because I wanted to tell you that I was pregnant." I said hot angry tears rolling down my face .

"But instead I found you almost having sex in an alley with her! Her! What I wasn't good enough for you Jace?! I wasn't as good as her?" I was now face to face with Jace his eyes were as big as saucers .

Isabelle had her hands in fists and Ambriel was very abnormally pale. Simon was glaring daggers at Jace and Luke had claws for nails.

I gasped out loud. Suddenly there was this pressure in my head. I felt like my brain was going to explode in a million pieces.

Suddenly I felt numb. My eyes were still open but I couldn't see my family. All I could see was the image of a new rune . I felt the urge to draw it. I reached for a knife and I glided my hand over the table and wiped everything on the floor. I took the knife in my hand and started carving on the table.

My hand went faster and faster as I carved the rune in my mind, on the table. In a matter of minutes I was done with carving the rune. It was carved to perfection on the table.

I felt like all the pressure was subsiding and I was going to faint. My vision was getting blurry and my head felt heavy. I couldn't breathe. I opened my eyes to see everything spining.

What's happening to me? I thought.

I closed my eyes and tried to steady myself. When I closed my eyes I lost my balance and fell banging my head on the floor and blacking out instantly.

As I regained my consciousness, I felt my body being shaken and pinched. Suddenly I was lifted by warm strong hands. Then after a few minutes I was laying down on something warm and soft. I'm guessing it was a bed. I felt movement and cold things touching my arms, legs and hair.

They were pinching my arms right were my veins were. Out of the blue I felt this excruciating pain in my arms and hands like they were being ripped out. I felt like screaming and clawing at my arms but I couldn't lift a finger. 

My veins felt like they were on fire. I was in so much pain I couldn't handle it.

My body couldn't handle it.

So I gave up.

I didn't fight.

I just laid there motionless hoping that darkness would consume me.

And a few minutes later I was surrounded by darkness. I felt nothing, heard nothing.

At this moment I realized that I was completely and utterly alone. That it was just me and my baby. Because what will happen when I have my baby. I know Jonah will be there but he will eventually get tired. He'll want more then just me and the baby. He'll want a real family. He'll eventually push me away. Like Jace did. He got tired and he replaced me without even giving me a warning. He just pushed me aside like he always did.

I felt stupid, used and a little betrayed by him. I gave him my all. I even risked my life varius times just to save his ass.

Althought he did the same for me.

Ugh!, let's just hope that we can clear the air later. When I'm not too tired. And I can actually see... And talk... And hear.

So yeah... I'm really sorry for not updating in like a month. I just needed inspiration and my life is so freaking borriiinngg!!!!

So I decided to make this one a little longer.
