*** 1 month later ***

After Robert Lightwoods death everything went back to normal in a weird way. Isabelle and Maryse stopped sobbing and crying and almost looked normal. Jace had snapped out of his daze and was slowly regaining his confidence. Alec, well Alec was still sulking around the Institute halls. He was grieving.

I had decided to tell my family about the child. To tell Jace about the child. I had woken up early in the morning and made myself a sandwich.

Today was my 4 month check up, which meant that I was already 4 months along! Jonah was piking me up at 6:00 am to take me to the doctors office. I was waiting outside the Institute doors when a black Charger pulled up. He rolled the windows down.

"You like it?" He asked. I just stood there mouth open.

"I... I love it!! Were and How did you get it?" I said as I got in. The leather seat soft and comfortable. He rolled the window up and smiled at me.

"That my dear sister does not matter." He said as they left the institute.

"He seems to be fine, Clary" said doctor Owens. She was examining my baby boy who was now surprisingly a lot bigger. I was so filled with joy. I was smiling like a mad man and so was Jonah. This was my first child and I was going to enjoy it.

"He is so big." I whispered almost to myself.

"I know right." Jonah said smiling a sweet caring smile.

"Okay guys. Do you want me to print out the sonogram for you?" The doctor asked. I looked towards Jonah who nodded.

"Yes please. Oh! and can you please give me two copies?" I asked. Doctor Owens nodded and left the room shutting the door behind her.

I sighed out loud and laid back again looking at the image of my son frozen on the screen. I took some paper towels and cleaned my belly that was now much bigger than last time.

I took my jeans and shimmied them on not bothering to tell Jonah to leave. My clothe seemed a bit tighter than normal these days, so getting dressed was a lot harder.

"Hey. I was wondering, have you bought anything for the baby?" He asked.

Oh crap! I forgot! I thought. I shook my head and turned to face him.

"No I forgot. Again. I didn't have enough money and were was I going to keep it anyway?" I asked frowning at him. He shrugged.

"You could have told me. I could have given you money, You could have taken it to my apartment." He said matter-of-factly.

"Okay you have a point. We can go now if you want?" I asked him. This seemed to brighten his mood because he smiled widely at me.

"That would be great. Did you tell your family that you were gonna go out?" He asked furrowing his brows.

I chuckled slightly and nodded. He seemed to relax at this and sighed.

"Okay then to the mall?" He asked crossing the small room, putting his hand on the door knob.

"To the mall!" I said walking next to him.

"What about this one?" He said pointing to a crib. It was beautiful. It was made of dark wood decorated with stuffed wild animals.

"Oh my god, Jonah! It's beautiful. I love it." I said smiling. He turned to me smiling too.

"Do you want it?" He asked me. I stuttered a bit and then nodded.

"Okay then. All that's left is the color of the room." He said while bending down to take a box.

We made our way to the paint section and started looking at various types of blues, greens, yellows, oranges, red, white, brown, and so it went on.

"What about these?" He asked handing me two card with electron blue and cool vista written across it.

"I love them their perfect." I said looking him straight in the eyes.

"Great. Then these are the ones I'm taking home." He said taking the swatches and heading towards the counter.

When we finished some of the baby shopping, Jonah took me back home. I was exited to get home to Jace and the Lightwood's. Today was the day that my life was going to change more than it already has.

I opened the door to the Institute. I walked slowly down the hall silently while looking for Jace.

"Jace? Where are you?" I said while turning towards the kitchen.

"He's not here." Said a deep raspy voice. I looked over to the mop of dark brown hair.

"Then were is he?" I asked Evan, who was sitting in the kitchen table eating eggs and bacon. Mmm bacon!

"He just went out he said something about a club? I really don't know" He said taking a bite of his eggs. I made my way over to were he sat and took a piece of bacon. He looked at me with a wide grin on his face. She just rolled her eyes a ghost of a smile on her face.

"So how's it going?" He said gesturing at my body with his hands. I almost chocked on my bacon laughing.

"What!? What's so funny?" He said smiling a big goofy sexy smile. I stopped laughing and stared straight to his face.

"I'm good thanks for asking." I said standing up to leave , but someone pull at my wrist. I spin around to face Evan.

"Where are you going?" Evan asked me. I smiled up at him shaking my head.

"I'm going to Pandemonium that's were Jace must be." I said pulling my wrist gently away from his grasp. He nodded and sat back down.

"Bring me back a scotch will you." He shouted from the kitchen. I laughed and shouted back: "I'll try. But don't get your hopes up!"

I looked at my phone to look at the time. It was already 8:16 pm. I hadn't realized that I had spent so much time out with Jonah. She walked silently up to the weapons room and picked up her Chinese ring daggers and a seraph blade. She put runes such as: angelic, agility, clarity, courage, deflect, equilibrium, fireproof, flexibility, good luck, guidance, speed and insight.

Once inside Pandemonium the music pumping loudly in my ears. The stench of sweat, puke and alcohol hit my nose almost instantly. How I hated clubs.

I was in search of Jace's curly blonde hair. I turn my head in all directions the bar, the dance floor , the bathroom, etc. I couldn't see him anywhere and I was getting worried.

What if something happened? What if he's hurt?

I look once more before turning and heading outside the club.

I decided to walk back to the institute since I forgot my wallet at home. Oh! I forgot I can portal there!

I turned into the alley next to the club. It was dark but I could see people a few feet away. I decided to move closer to see who they were.

I could clearly hear loud moans coming from the couple. I internally groaned. They were getting heated and fast. I had two options: go to another alley or portal right hear and fast.

They were too occupied anyways. They wont notice me opening a door on the wall an disappearing. Right?

No. With my luck they will definitely notice me.

I made the brave decision of going up to them and trying to make them leave.

That  right there was THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE.
