After the little greenhouse incident with Evan I went downstairs, to Jace's room, to check on him. I entered the room and it was dark a slumped shape was in a corner of the room on the floor. I approached the shape kneeling down in front of him. I lifted his chin his golden eyes penetrating mine. You could see sadness and hurt in them.
"Jace? Are you okay?" I whispered. His eyes glossy with tears. He shook his head. I pull him in for a hug and softly caress his head.
"Jace It's okay. You don't have to put up a wall. You know you can trust me." I said. He nodded and pulled away slightly. He sniffled and tears ran down his cheeks. He smiled a weak, sad smile that broke my heart.
"Clary. I love you so so much." He said caressing her cheek with his thumb. I smiled a little at the statement.
"I know Jace." I said and leaned down and kissed him. He didn't protest. He just kissed back.
He pulled away and took my hands in his and pulled me up with him. He led me to his bed and I laid there with him. Soon after sleep consumed us both and we fell asleep.
This is more like a filler chapter so yeah...
