Broken

Chapter 3

Izzy and Simon were riding throw the streets of New York in Simon's new motorcycle. Izzy had no idea were they were going but she didn't care, she trusted Simon with her life and she was sure she would love were they were going.

"Izzy,were do you want to go?" He asked. She had her eyes closed and her cheek to his back.

"I don't know. What did you have in mind?" She was smiling against his back.

"Wanna go to Taki's and have lunch?"

He shrugged while saying that.

"Sure. I'm up for lunch." Izzy said smiling while Simon drive through the streets.

Clary let the portal take over her. She had gone through the portal so many times she was used to the dizziness of the travel. She felt the portal throwing her onto the ground and when she looked up she was in a very dirty side walk. Clary got up from the floor and walked up the steps to Magnus's apartment. She rang the buzzer and the door swung open. She went in and went up to the warlocks apartment door. Clary knocked once and the door swung open. There he was a very glittery Magnus. He had cat like eye and black hair.

"Come in Clary" He gestured his hand for her to come into his home. She walked in and sat down on one of the cushions.

"Want some coffee or tea?" He offered her. She nodded.

"Tea please." Was all she could say. She was thinking of how to start her story. He came back with two tea cups and sat down across from her.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" He said rather curiously looking at Clary like she had a purple mustache.

"Don't freak out, but I think I'm pregnant." Clary said, all in one breath.

When she looked up she saw a very shocked yet very happy Magnus. Clary was not happy about it and was insecure about it that's why she bought the test. She was going to take it and decide with Magnus's help what to do.

"What!?, Why aren't you telling Jace or why isn't he here?" He was on the edge of his seat, literally. He had a big Smile on his face and his cat like eyes were glowing with joy. Which made Clary smile a little sad, weak smile.

"That's the problem, Magnus, it's not Jace's child. I might be wrong, and I might not be pregnant, but that's why I need your help. I need you to hide me here for a few hours at least until I decide what to do. Please Magnus I need your help." She had tears streaming down her cheeks and her voice was breaking. She was so sad and happy, but mostly sad. She knew that the child didn't have any blame in this that it was the father and not him but it still hurt.

"Fine, anything for you. Want me to put wards up so they can't track you?" Magnus stud up, walked towards her and laid a hand on her shoulder. She broke. Clary put her face in her hands and started to sob uncontrollably. Magnus sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her. He patted her back and tried to calm her down.

"Yes please." Was all Clary could say. Magnus let her go, she took the box she had bought and she stalked of to the bathroom down the hall.

Simon pulled over into an alley next to Taki's. Izzy was holding onto him with her eyes closed. She was so exited she was finale alone with Simon. He hopped of the motorcycle and extended a hand to Izzy so that she could get of. She took it and hopped of landing on the pavement. Simon helped her with her helmet. She turned around and placed it on the bike. She turned and was surprised by a very passionate kiss by Simon. She wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. They pulled away to catch their breath.

"What was that for?" Asked a very breathless and smiling Izzy.

"What?, I can't make out with my girlfriend in an alley with out being interrupted by your brother?" Simon was smiling while he talked. Izzy laughed and grabbed his hand leading him into the side walk. They were walking hand in hand when Izzy's phone started buzzing. Izzy looked at Simon who nodded and took out the phone. It was Jace.

"Hello?" Izzy was worried Jace wouldn't call unless it was an emergency.

"Hello. Izzy is Clary with you?" He sounded worried and agitated.

"No. I'm with Simon at Taki's. What's wrong?" Isabelle was now very worried she had stopped walking.

"She told me she was going with you to the mall and that she'd be back, but It's been an hour and a half since she left. I'm worried she's been acting weird." His voice was dripping with worry and sadness.

"Well she hasn't even called me. If she does I'll call you. Jace, maybe she just wants space, you know her brother died, her mom got married. It's really a lot to take in at once." Izzy was know walking again a little bit behind Simon. She heard Jace take a deep breath.

"Maybe you're right. Call me if you get hold of her. Okay?" He was sad and worried.

"Of course. Bye." And with that she hung up. Simon was waiting in front of the door. She looked at him with a big smile on her face. He smiled at her and opened the door.

"Lady's first." He said motioning for her to go in first.

She went in and almost instantly saw her brother sitting at a booth alone. She pointed at him and Simon nodded answering her unspoken question. She walked up to her brother and sat down across from him.

"What are you doing here? And where's Magnus?" Izzy furrowed her brows at her brother in genuine curiosity.

"I don't know were he is. Maybe he's at his apartment?" He shrugged. Izzy could sense his discomfort.

"Then why don't you call him?" Izzy was now outraged.

"I already did. He's not answering my calls or texts." He was not looking at his sister in the eyes.

"Then what are you doing here? Go to his apartment and talk to him." She was now raising her voice.

"Okay, okay I'll go. That's what I was doing here thinking on what to do. If I should go or not." Alec stud up and kissed his sisters forehead and left.

Simon came with the food and sat on the oder side of the food a very strange look on his face.

"What was that about?" He said looking back at the door.

"Nothing." was all she said.
