Broken

Chapter 15

Recap:

They were already together before I found them in the alley. By the Angel. He never really did love me.
 I'm so stupid! How could I be so naive?!

I blinked my eyes and snapped out of my zombie like daze. I took a deep breath and walked away. I just walked away tears running freely down my cheeks. I ran through the hallways of my new home and up to my room.

Once there I slammed the door closed and jumped on my bed, letting very loud sobs escape my body I was shaking uncontrollably.

So this is what it feels like to be broken.

Chapter 15:

RING!! RING!! RING!! RING!! RING!! RING!! RIN--

"Hello?' I answered in a raspy voice from all the crying. I didn't even see who it was.

"What happened? Are you hurt? Why are you crying? " Isabelle.

"Nothing happened I'm fine Izzy." I said clearing my throat and rolling my eyes. I moved to a more comfortable position and dried my cheeks with my sleeve.

"You're lying. I know you. Still I wont pry." she said letting out a deep breath. "In other news what's this I hear that there is an emergency family dinner on your behalf" She said changing the topic fast as to not upset me further.

"Oh yes I was just gonna call you and let you know, but your mom beat me to it I guess, Did she tell you to dress nice?" I asked now remembering I had to call Alec and Magnus too. I had a very busy day ahead of me.

"NO! When is it?" She yelled over the phone almost shattering my ear drum.  I sighed.

"Today at 8" I said slowly. I winced in pain as she yelled yet again.

"WHAT?!"

"Gees Isabelle would you please stop yelling I'm sure Jace can here you from where ever he is" I said rather loudly.

"I'm sorry, Clary. Its just that I have nothing to wear. So that means that we will have to go to the mall and buy new shoes, new dress, new ear rings..." She said making me sigh in defeat knowing very well that Izzy wasn't taking NO for an answer.

"I know but I already now what I'm going to wear so, its only you that's going shopping." I said.

"Okay so get ready because I'm already here." She said and exactly two minutes later there was a soft knock on my door followed by Izzys voice.

"Lets go" She said all happy. I sighed and got up from my comfortable position on the bed.

"What the in the hell happened to you?! You look like crap Clare." She said rushing to my side and cupping my cheeks, turning my head from side to side inspecting my face for any visible injuries.

"Izzy let go! You're kinda hurting my face." I said. She immediately let go of my face.

"What. Happened?"  She enunciated every word slowly. As if not to scare me. Sighing I sat back down on my bed and she did the same. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"IsawJacecheating." I said it all in one breath.  Her eyes went wide, her face turned red and she started shaking.

"I am GOING TO CHOOP HIS B@&LS OFF!" She yelled standing up abruptly making her way at a very fast pace to the hallway. My eyes went wide and I grabbed her arm and yanked back with all my force,

She fell on her butt.

"What the hell was that for?!" She whispered-yelled standing up and rubbing her butt.

" I don't want more drama, okay? I already freaked out yesterday and this morning." She sighed before nodding.

 She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the front doors.

We have been at this for two hours and she still hasn't found a dress. My feet hurt and I'm really hungry. She better find a dress at this store because if not she will have to go in another dress she has at home.

"Clare! look at this one" She said walking up to me with a black short dress in her hands.

It had long, black lacy sleeves and some cleavage. It was so pretty and would fit Izzy's tall body perfectly.

"That is really pretty and would look really good with those blue pumps you bought." I said and she eagerly nodded and headed to try it out. She came 5 minutes later with a big fat smile on her face.

"I'm so buying this. It looks great and fits me like a glove." Izzy said all exited and happy.

"YES!! Now I can go home and sleep!" I said. Well more like shouted. She sighed and made her way to the counter.
