The Black Leaf (Part 2)

Chapter 7: Kakashi

In the morning I woke up, to the sun light hitting my face. I looked down and saw Kakashi seating on the chair and resting his head on the bed close to me. I tried to move but his hand was still holding mine. I didn't want to wake him up, so I buried my head deep in the pillow and closed my eyes again. I thought about everything and just by thinking my head was pounding. 

A few minutes later, I heard footsteps coming in the room, "Kakashi Hatake, I been looking for you everywhere?" the Hokage said loud enough to wake him up.

"Lady Tsunade," Kakashi said half asleep but still holding my hand.

"You have a mission report to file," she told him, then looked at me as I sat, "and you should go home and rest."

"She is being discharged already?" Kakashi asked concerned.

"Kakashi relax," the Hokage said looking at him with an amused smile, "she is just pregnant." She took deep breath and shook her head, "I knew I shouldn't have assigned you two to work together..." she said.

I felt a shiver go down my spine, Shizune and her think Kakashi is the father, "Lady Tsunade it's n-"

"...but there is no coming back from this, is there?" she said and headed to the door, "Kakashi take Izumi home and you can write your report later. Also when you are ready come and talk to me, Izumi. There is a lot we have to talk about." She opened the curtain to the other bed and pulled Naruto's leg, "the hospital is not a hotel Naruto, go home," she said and walked out. Naruto followed her half asleep.

I looked down and Kakashi's hand was still holding mine, he looked at me concern, "what is it?" he asked.

"She does thinks y-you are the father," I whispered embarrassed.

"Yeah, that was the impression I got yesterday, too," he said looking down at our hands.

I pulled my hand away from his, "and why you didn't deny it?" I asked confused.

"Izumi, let's take you home, we can talk about all this later," he said handing me a bag with clothes. I took it and and went to take a shower when I got out Kakashi was seating on the bed, fidgeting with his fingers. I thought it was odd because he only did that when he was nervous or thinking deeply of something. I stared at him from the door, then I felt the presence of someone walking inside the room.

"Hello Izumi Uchiha," Danzo said and I turned to look at him. "I just heard the news, congratulations," his words sent shivers down my spine. How in the world he knew? Who told him? I couldn't answer, I felt my whole body tremble and my hands started shaking.

"That is very thoughtful of you Lord Danzo," Kakashi said looking at him.

"Kakashi Hatake," Danzo said slightly surprised to see him there. "Why are you here? don't tell me you are the father?" Kakashi sighed and walked towards me. 

"We thank you for coming all this way," Kakashi said and I felt his strong grip hold my hand. "Now, if you excuse us, I have to take Izumi home."

"Well, well,  I am glad neither the Uchiha nor the Hatake clan will die with you two." Danzo said with a fake smile, "see you around Izumi." 

As soon as he left I looked at Kakashi but before I could talk I felt my stomach turn, and I immediately ran to the toilet. "So, it begins," Kakashi said very amused from the doorway, "want me to hold your hair?"

I kicked the door shut as I threw up. Once I couldn't throw up any more, I rinse my mouth a couple of times until the nasty taste was gone. Then, I threw some water in my very pale face, patted it dry and went outside. Kakashi was standing in front of the door waiting on me.
