Chapter 22: Sasuke's Decision

Kabuto made his first move and Sasuke drew his sword and stood in front of me. Itachi formed his Susanoo and Sasuke did as well, "stay close," Sasuke said looking back at me. Kabuto went for the ceiling making a few big rocks fall on us but were blocked by the Susanoo. Itachi went forward and started attacking Kabuto's snakes. "Damm" Sasuke complain, I knew he wanted to go help but had to stay and protect me.

"Go on Sasuke," I said as I stepped out of his Susanoo and created my own. "I got my own protection, we will be fine," he looked at me and nodded with a smile on his face.

Sasuke went and cut a few the snakes heads off in front of Itachi. Itachi immediately looked back to search for me, and he smiled when he saw me inside my incomplete white Susanoo. They fought together like brothers and watching them like that warmed my heart.

"Where did he go?" Itachi asked.

"He split into multiples, I can't sense the real one," I told them. "Quick on your right," Sasuke shoot his arrow, but Kabuto dodge it.

"How?" Sasuke complained.

"He is using sage mode," I told them.

Kabuto immediately used his sage mode to attack both Sasuke and Itachi simultaneously. They dodge the attacked and Kabuto used this opportunity to send a new jutsu that exploded in the middle of the cave. The explosion sent vibrations and a blinding light through the cave. I went blind for a few seconds and the vibrations were so strong that I couldn't hold my Susanoo. My ears felt like if they were about to explode, when I tried to open my eyes, I saw Kabuto running straight towards me. I tried to form my Susanoo again but before I could try, Sasuke jumped in front of me. Sasuke was able to form the first phase, but the vibrations did not help, his Susanoo dissipated. Before Kabuto could make contact with Sasuke and me, Itachi jumped in front of us with his full formed Susanoo.

"It seems that you can sense my charka after all," Kabuto laughed.

"No, it wasn't me, who sense you here, I don't have such power" he looked back at us. "But you are easy to read, and I knew who you were going to target her from the beginning."

"Your eyes always made you such a dangerous shinobi, they always made it easier for you to read and deceived people," Kabuto laughed. "You were always a good liar, after all you died lying."

"Sasuke remember when you came with me to the wild board mission?" Itachi asked him.

"I see, yeah the one rampaging on the fields, I remember," Sasuke smiled. I remembered it as well, Itachi told me all about it when were kids. I stepped out of Itachi's Susanoo and formed my own.

"Let's go" Itachi said and Sasuke formed his Susanoo. Itachi was the bait, he distracted Kabuto and made the perfect opening for Sasuke to hit him with his arrow. The arrow hit the snake right on the neck and Itachi ran towards Kabuto. Kabuto stabbed Itachi before he could reach him. Itachi did a substitution jutsu and took the sword from Kabuto, cutting his horn off on the way. I tried to follow everything with my Sharingan, but I could feel bloody tears staring to leave my eyes. I was using too much chakra and holding my Susanoo for too long. I relase the susanoo and wipe the blood from my eyes. Sasuke walked towards me and Itachi followed.

"Don't overuse it," Itachi said as he wiped blood from my cheeks, "remember what I taught you."

I nodded and looked at both of them standing next to me. "Seems like you two can finally stop the wild boar," I told them and both of them chuckled.

"You told her," Sasuke shook his head.

"You know, there was a time when he used to tell me everything," I told him looking at Itachi.
