Chapter 4: Memory Lane

FLASHBACK

 After Joo Dan Tae get imprisoned and the final verdict was given to him as he killed many people. The life of the Hera Kids changed.
Seokhoon and Seokkyung went to their biological mother's tomb. "Eomma, we are very sorry that we weren't able to bond with you. I'm so sorry, eomma. " Seokkyung cried while saying sorry to her biological mom. " Eomma, the justice has been serve. And I hope you are now free and happy, eomma." Seokhoon said while holding his sister's shoulders. "Joo Dan Tae, that bastard will now gonna pay for what he did to you and to Soo Ryeon eomma. " Seokkyung said as her voice is full of anger. 
"We are now going, eomma. We also have to beg for forgiveness to a very important person." Seokhoon said and they put down the flowers they bought and went to someone.

" Min Seol-ah, I'm so sorry. I know it is very hard to forgive me but I will continue to ask forgiveness till we meet again. I promise to take care of mom and act like my age. Min Seol-Ah, I'm very very sorry. I'm sorry for tormenting and bullying you before. I will also promise to apologize to Logan ssaem as part of asking forgiveness from you. " Seokkyung said in a very sweet and sad voice. They brought a flower for her and after that they already go back home. As they went back to their home where Sooryeon is resting for awhile. They caught Logan and their mom talking. As they see them they can't help but to evesdrop. 
"Sooryeon-ssi, are you okay now?" Logan ask Sooryeon worriedly. Sooryeon nods. Logan immediately hug Sooryeon. "Everything is fine now. Thanks to Logan." Sooryeon said while hugging Logan. "It's okay. As long as you are okay. I promise to be with you and make you happy as what I promise to our Seol-ah. " Logan let go of the hug and caress Sooryeon's cheeks. As they look to each other eyes, they felt love and spark. Their face are slowly getting near to each other. And their lips touched. They shared a kiss. At first Sooryeon is hesitant to answer back the kiss but when she felt the love that just start again she answer back the kisses. They kiss for a minute and let go. "Do I deserve to be happy, Logan? I also have two children to take care of. And I don't want to be a burden to you. I want you to live like a normal person, no love attached, Logan. You.." Logan put her index finger to Soo Ryeon's lips and say "You and your kids will never be a burden to me. Your kids just need a proper guidance and a real family to lean on. Sooryeon-ssi, I can't bare to live without you. I can't let you go anymore. I just want to make you happy." Logan said. Little did Logan and Soo Ryeon know, the kids hear everything they talk about. When Seokhoon and Seokkyung already feel like they are done talking. The twins act like they just came in and didn't hear anything. They knock at the door. "Eomma.." Seokhoon called her mom and Seokkyung run towards her mother and hug her very tight. "Eomma, I'm sorry. I apologize for everything that I have done to you and to Min Seola. I hope you'll forgive me mom. " Seokkyung's knees weakened and she fell down. Sooryeon immediately catches her daughter and hug her back. "Seokkyung-ah , eomma is not mad anymore. I am also very sorry because I think I lack as a mother to you and to Seokhoon. " Sooryeon can't also help but to cry. Logan is just watching the three of them asking for apologies and giving forgiveness. "Aniyo, eomma. You never lacked as a mother. Honestly, it was us who lacks as a children. We never saw your hardships just to take care of us and we even almost killed your daughter. " Seokhoon said with full of guilt. After that they hug each other, Sooryeon kiss their forehead and hug them again. Seokkyung look at Logan that Sooryeon immediately notice. Sooryeon was slightly nervous of what might Seokkyung do. But she was shocked as what Seokkyung did. She kneel down and even Seokhoon followed his sister and also kneel down in front of Logan. "Logan ssaem, we are very sorry for what we did to that precious child.We didn't just lack as a child but also as a student. We never had a virtue to do good things instead we became a monster. A monster that everyone will hate." Seokkyung said with full of remorce. "Ssaem, I am sorry when I fought with you before. We became a bullies. I hope you will accept our apology." Seokhoon followed. Sooryeon was just looking at her two kids and eventually look at Logan who also kneel down so he can talk with the kids properly. Who would've thought that a well know businessman will kneel down towards a person. "Seokhoon, seokkyung, everyone can make mistake. It's either ask for apology or be a worse person. I also did something wrong towards Min Seol Ah. But I repented a long time ago. You are just kids and you guys still have many chances to change. I've already forgiven you. I just wish for the both of you the be more responsible of your actions. I am telling you because I once become your teacher. And that is my purpose , to educate someone properly." Logan said and also unexpectedly hug both of Sooryeon's children. Sooryeon just smile at Logan and Logan smiled back. |
The day was filled with forgiveness and apologies. 

"FORGIVENESS SAYS YOU ARE GIVEN A CHANCE TO CREATE NEW BEGINNING"

FORGIVE IS A STEPPING STONE FOR FREEDOM, AS WE LEARN HOW TO FORGIVE, WE ARE ALSO LEARNING HOW TO MAKE PEACE WITH ONE'S SELF. 

DON'T JUST ASK FOR APOLOGY BECAUSE YOU ARE GUILTY. ADMIT THAT YOU ARE WRONG AND ASK  APOLOGY BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO. APOLOGY CANNOT CHANGE WHAT HAPPEN IN THE PAST BUT IT CHANGE WHAT WILL HAPEN IN THE FUTURE.
