Chapter 48: The End

A week has passed...

" Is this Eunbyul-ah?" A woman with a voice that sounds so tired. " Yes, mam." The police answered. It was Seojin.... Asking for her daughter's whereabouts. When she saw her picture smiling happily, she smiled too. " Eunbyul-ah, eomma is going out. Wait for me, can you?" Seojin having her monologue. She hugged the picture of Eunbyul and was excited for tomorrow.

5 years have passed and Seojin stayed in prison for a long time.

The next day.....

The law gave her probation because of her illness. Everyone knew about her probation as it was really announced in the media. Logan was worried at first but Sooryeon made sure that Seojin won't do something again. Seojin texted all of them to come to a certain place. At first they were hesitant to go, but they didn't feel nervous at all.

They have arrived at the place that Seojin sent to them. They saw her very pale and weak.Eunbyul ran towards her mother and hugged her. " Eomma..." Eunbyul softly called her. Seojin can't see her that clearly but she smiled when she heard her daughter's voice. Everyone pitied her when they saw her being weak and not the Seojin they've known for long years. Seojin may not be able to see the people that came but they knew who they were. She called Hyein, and Hyein went near her. "Hyein-ah, komawo...And I am very sorry..." Seojin said and little tears fell down into her eyes."Don't worry, ahjumma. I've already forgiven you. " Hyein replied and hugged Seojin. " Yoonhee-yah..." She called Yoonhee and Yoonhee went near her, "Yoonhee-yah, mianhae.. I'm very sorry for everything I did to you and to Rona. My greed and my jealousy devours me that I forgot to be a human. Yoonhee-yah, can you take care of my Eunbyul, for me?" Soejin asking favor toSeojin, Yoonhee tearing up and nodding. " I will Seojin-ah. And Seojin-ah, I have forgiven you a long time ago. You have changed and accepted the right punishment for you. Don't worry, I've forgiven you already." Yoonhee replied and hugged Seojin. A little hands wiped Seojin's tear. " Who is this beautiful girl?" Seojin asked and held the girl's hand softly. "What is your name, baby?" Seojin smiled widely. "Seo Ah." A four year old kid answered. Seojin's smile faded when she heard her name as she remembered the little girl that suffered because of their evilness. Seojin started tearing up again, a soft hand patted her and it was Sooryeon. " Seojin-ah, I've forgiven you already. " Sooryeon said. "I once dreamt of having a sister like you, Sooryeon-ah. But because of my greed, I ruined everything. I'm sorry, Sooryeon-ah. I'm sorry, Logan. I will forever beg for forgiveness from Seol Ah too." Seojin said, after saying that she faced Eunbyul-ah and hugged her daughter tightly. " Eunbyul-ah, be a good person, okay?If mom is away, please choose to be good and not like me." Eunbyul nods while crying." Don't cry, Eunbyul-ah." Seojin said and wiped Eunbyul's tears. " Eomma, are you tired?" Eunbyul asked her mother and looked at her, Seojin is so weak and paler than before. " Can I rest, Eunbyul-ah? In another life, Eunbyul-ah.. Do you still want me to be your mom?" Seojin asked while leaning her head to Eunbyul's lap. " Ne, eomma. But I hope in another life, everything is fair and you will be reborn as a person with a good and kindest heart. " Eunbyul answered. Seojin smiled when she heard the answer. Her vision is getting more blurry. " Saranghae, uri Eunbyul-ah.." " Nado.. Eomma." She smiled once again and she slowly closed her eyes and everything weakened on her body. "Eomma... In another life.. Be a good mother and a good wife.. I'll wait for you there. Eomma,saranghae..Eunbyul loves mom so much." Eunbyul said and hugged her mom's body. She cried and cried, everyone saw that and everyone cried when they saw how Seojin's life ended and how Eunbyul lost her mother. They all went back to the place and prepared for Seojin's funeral.

After a day, Logan and Sooryeon went home first. " Everything has an end, isn't it Logan?" Sooryeon suddenly asked while making Seo Ah sleep. "Yup, everything has its own end. Everything ends in different ways." Logan answered. Sooryeon walked to Logan and hugged him. " If that end comes, are you still with me?" Sooryeon asked, which made Logan slightly nervous with the question. " If that time comes, Seo Ah is already big, she will have her own family by that time. If you go, I'll go. I'll be with you wherever you are." Logan answered and kissed Sooryeon's forehead. " Thank you for giving me the life I've always wanted, Logan." Sooryeon said and smile sweetly to Logan. " You deserve everything you have right now, my love."Logan was about to kiss Sooryeon when a small hands were pulling Sooryeon's nightgown. " Oh our little Seo Ah woke up?" Sooryeon said and carried Seo ah and put her back to the bed. " Seo Ah can't sleep without mommy and daddy." Seoah cutely answered that makes the two parents very happy. " Why is our Seo ah so cute?" Logan said and pich Seo Ah's cheeks. "Like this, daddy?" Seo ah doing cute things makes the couple laugh so hard. Seo Ah also released a very cute laugh. They were playing on the bed till the three of them got tired. Seo Ah fell asleep first. Sooryeon and Logan fixed their bed and slept beside Seo Ah.
