Chapter 46: Pregnancy

Sooryeon is now allowed to go home. After Logan knew about Sooryeon's pregnancy, he always wanted her to stay at home but Sooryeon refused and still wanted to go to her office. "Love, you can just stay here at home. '' Logan insisted but Sooryeon still wants to go to her office and work since her work is not that stressful. "Logan, I want to go to the office and work. I'm just gonna get bored if I stay here." Logan shrugged his head but he thought that what Sooryeon said was right. "Okay fine, you can go to your office but please take care of yourself. Am I understood?" Sooryeon smiled widely and nodded her head and immediately hugged Logan tightly. " Thank you, my love." And gave her a kiss on his cheeks.

They left the hospital and went straight to their home. Logan assisted Sooryeon, and Sooryeon can't help but to laugh looking at Logan taking care of her that much. " What's funny, lady?" Logan raised his eyebrow when he saw his wife laughing at her. " Nothing. You look so cute." Sooryeon said. Logan smiled and opened the door of their house. Sooryeon went straight to their room to take more rest as the doctor said. Logan went to their kitchen to prepare food for the both of them.

Logan is done cooking so he put all the food he cooked on a tray and went upstairs. He opened the door and saw his wife sleeping. She must be really tired. He thought. He put down all the food and sat beside Sooryeon. He caressed her face and put his hand to her belly. "I am glad everything went well and we are now living the life that we have been dreaming of." Logan said. " I have been dreaming of things like this, having my own family with you. Ever since I met you, everything changed,you have fulfilled one of my greatest wishes in life. " He continued. Sooryeon opened her eyes and saw the man she loves dearly. She smiled at him and he smiled back. " You are really happy, aren't you?" Sooryeon asked and Logan nodded happily. " Here's the food I cook. Eat it." Logan said and brought the food tray to Sooryeon. While Sooryeon was eating, he was just staring at her. My future children are so lucky they have a very beautiful mom. He thought. Sooryeon snapped her finger for Logan to be back on himself. " Hey!" Logan startled with Sooryeon snap and voice. " Yes? Why? Do you need anything? Do you want more?" Logan asks continuously but for Logan to shut up, Sooryeon presses her lips to him and smiles at him. " What do you think the gender of our baby will be?" Sooryeon asked and smiled again. " I want it to be a baby girl." Logan answered. "I want a boy since my twins are already girls so I want to have a baby boy, a baby boy that looks exactly like you. " Sooryeon said.. Logan hold Sooryeon's hand " No matter what the gender our baby would be, as long as you are their mother, it's enough." Logan said and caressed his wife's space.

The next day, they've already sent the news to their children and also to their friends that are in Korea. Logan's family were also happy to receive the good news from them. The 4th week of pregnancy was not that hard for Sooryeon unlike other pregnant moms. She can still do things she likes but sometimes she still feels dizzy and feels some light-headache.

2nd Month of Pregnancy

In the second month of pregnancy, Sooryeon experienced craving, morning sickness, and mood changes.

4th Month of Pregnancy

In the 4th month of pregnancy, Sooryeon already felt okay and well, so she now insisted on going back to her office. She wants to be physically fit, so she also started doing some exercises that are suitable for pregnant women, which Logan totally agreed. Logan and Sooryeon always have their monthly check-up to see if the baby is healthy and well. As what the doctor advises Sooryeon should do some exercises to make the baby hold tighter to Sooryeon's umbilical cord.

6th Month of Pregnancy

In the 6th month of Pregnancy, Logan and Sooryeon already felt their baby moving and kicking. Logan was so happy when he first felt his baby move and kick. Their baby kicked so strong that sometimes Sooryeon really felt pain every time their baby kicked.

7th month of pregnancy

The couple decided to know the gender of the baby. The two decided to know it in the 7th month though the doctor already told them that they can know the gender's baby in the 5th month of pregnancy but the two insist on having it in the 7th month. Both of them went to the clinic to check if the baby is healthy and well, and of course to know the gender of the baby. Logan planned to have a gender reveal party to their family but Sooryeon refuse to have it since it can be a waste of time. Logan just agreed and told their close family that they will have a baby girl. Logan and Sooryeon were so happy to announce the gender of the baby to their family, and Logan's family surprised them with a mini party. But the lovers were more shocked when they saw Seokkyung, Seokhoon, Hyein, Rona,Eunbyul,Minhyuk,Jenny, Kang Mari, Dong Pil, Yoonchul, and Yoonhee. They were so happy to be together again after 11 months of not seeing each other. Everyone was so happy to know the baby's gender.

After a week, the Lee Siblings, Ha family, Yoo family, and Minhyuk went back to Korea.

9th month of pregnancy

Contractions and pains have been experienced by Sooryeon, Logan already stayed at their house for a month so he can also take care of his pregnant wife. Her due date is today November 7,2022. (I set Joo Dan tae's imprisonment in 2020)

The contractions are getting more painful that they really rushed Sooryeon to the hospital. Sooryeon was just holding Logan's hand tightly while having a severe contraction. The doctors immediately went straight to the labor room. Sooryeon wanted Logan to be with her so he followed Sooryeon and the doctors.

Sooryeon was really having a painful delivery, Logan kept on encouraging her to be strong and she can do it. The baby's head keeps on going up, logan's hold her hand and kisses her forehead before continuing in pushing through. "Love, don't worry I'm here. You can do it." Sooryeon smiled when she heard Logan's voice and started to push through again. The doctor already saw the baby's head coming out. "The baby is coming. Few more pushes, Ms Shim." The doctor said, " You hear that, love? You can do it...." Logan keeps on encouraging and holding Sooryeon's hand tightly.

*uwaahh**uwaahh*

The baby's mewl was heard, Sooryeon smiled when she successfully delivered the baby in a normal operation. Logan tears up when he sees the baby's face. The doctor let Sooryeon hold the baby, Sooryeon tearing up when she saw the baby. She touched her lightly. The nurses get the baby but Sooryeon touches her one last time " My Seo Ah..." She uttered before she slowly closed her eyes.

The baby was transferred to the nursery room, exactly at the time. Logan's family came in and saw Logan staring at the baby in the delivery room. " Is she?" Stella asked and tapped Logan's shoulder. Logan nods. " What is her name?" Emma butts in. " Seo Ah.. Seo Ah is her name. And her American name is Bella. " Logan answered while still looking at his little child. " Such a beautiful name. Congratulations, Logan." James tapped his son's shoulder and saw him crying silently. " Why are you crying?" James asked. "Tears of joy.." He shortly answered. The family were so happy and after that Logan decided to go to Sooryeon's room and check if she is now awake. He entered the hospital room that the nurses transferred her to. He touched her hand and kiss her on her lips. " I love you, my Sooryeon."
