Chapter 21: The Night

"Logan..."
"Wae?" Logan answered weakly while sitting on his bed.
"Shim Sooryeon.." Logan cut Sec. Hong off. "Why? What happened to Sooryeon?"
Secretary Hong remains silent. "Hong biseo, why aren't you answering me? What happened to my wife?" Logan nervously said. Logan's room was in a private area of the hospital wherein only VIPs are allowed. Logan weakly walked towards Secretary Hong and Secretary Hong just bowed his head. Logan asked him again "Hong biseo, just answer me. Where is she? What happened to her?" Secretary Hong just opened the television inside Logan's room

Jakomo Chief Executive Officer got involved into a car accident.The car that Ms. Shim drives fell into the cliff..... Ms Shim
Logan turned off the television and got up immediately. Secretary Hong stopped him because his body was still weak. Logan kneels and faints "Joo Dan Tae, it's him who definitely does this." He said. Exactly at that time Yoonchul rushed into Logan's room. "Hyung, I told you to look upon my wife.."
"She is now safe, Logan." Yoonchul cut him off.
"Where is she?" Logan asked while trying to stand up.
"Let me bring you to her" Yoonchul assist Logan going to Sooryeon's room.

Flashback..
Yoonchul was tracking Shim Sooryeon's phone when they receive the info from secretary Jo that Joo Dan Tae is currently chasing Sooryeon. Yooonchul told the kids, Yoonhee and Kang Mari that Shim Sooryeon's life now is at risk. "Mwo? That Joo Dan Tae!" Kang Mari hissed. "What are you doing now, ahjussi?! Save my mom!" Hyein said. "Ahjussi, please save our mom from Joo Dan Tae." Seokkyung followed. "We will. We promise Logan to look upon Sooryeon and you kids. So stay here for a moment and don't tell anyone where we go. Dongpil hyung, kajja." Yoonchul went out of their apartment and drove as fast as they could to follow Shim SooRyeon and Joo Dan Tae. Yoochul were able to locate their direction, their direction is going to Gimpo cliff. They called the police immediately and told them that there might be an accident to happen at any moment. They were able to save Shim Sooryeon but she lost consciousness after she lost her balance and bumped her head on a big rock. They rushed her to the hospital that Logan was into. She was now stable but still not waking up.

Yoonchul assist Logan into Sooryeon's room. Logan saw Sooryeon peacefully lying in a cold hospital bed. Yoonchul gave Logan a space and went out of the room. Logan sat down and holds Sooryeon's hands. "Sooryeon-ah, wake up. Stop sleeping. I'm here. I'm waiting. I'm sorry Sooryeon-ssi. I'm very sorry, I'm very sorry." Logan burst into tears. He saw Sooryeon's head being covered by bandage cause of the accident. He touches it and his tears fall down again. He was about to leave the room when the person lying on the bed said "Logan?" Logan rushes into her "Sooryeon-ssi? Are you okay now? Are you awake?" Logan asked and Sooryeon slightly nodded and cupped his face. "Are you really Logan?" Sooryeon asked and Logan kissed her forehead. "Ne, it's me." Logan answered and smiled. Sooryeon's tears fell down as she remembered how Logan almost die that day. "Shhh. I am now here. I'm not going to leave you again. I'm sorry for not telling you about my plans." Logan holds her hand. "Do not do it again. Please, Logan. Promise me you'll never gonna leave me again." Sooryeon begged. And Logan agree and kiss Sooryeon's lips. Sooryeon wants to sit up in bed so Logan assists her. Logan also sat beside Sooryeon. "I can't live without you, Logan." Sooryeon said while looking into Logan's eyes who just cried a while ago. "Nado, Sooryeon. I can't bear to lose you again. The moment I heard that you were involved in a car accident, I thought my world crashed. I felt a dejavu when I lost you before. " Logan said and cupped her face. Sooryeon smiled at him and hugged him again. "You are now finally in my arms again. But Logan.." Sooryeon stopped and Logan let go of the hug and looked at Sooryeon with a confused face. "Why, Sooryeon?"
"I have plans already. Hyein also had a plan. The kids have plans too. So as for a while, just stay dead for everybody.Stay hidden. Execute your plan with the help of Yoonchul and Dongpil then I'll execute my plan with the help of our kids and the other Hera Kids. " Logan listened carefully to what Sooryeon said. "Tell me what are your plans first?"Logan asked and Sooryeon shrugged her head. "Just like how you didn't tell me your plan, I won't tell you also. But I promised you Logan. Seojin and Dan Tae won't be able to kill me. I promise you that." Logan looked very worried and Sooryeon noticed that and held his face and kissed him on his lips. She smiled at him and for the first time Sooryeon kissed Logan's forehead. They wanted to own each other but they are in a hospital and they cannot do the thing they want. Sooryeon kisses Logan's lips many times to assure him that she would protect herself. Logan kisses Sooryeon and Sooryeon answers back those kisses and they share a deep and passionate kiss for a minute and lay down their body wearing a hospital gown and fall asleep.
