Chapter 26: The good acting

Flashback

Seokhoon's phone rang, he answered the call and it was Secretary Hong.
"Yeoboseyo?" Seokhoon answered the phone call.
"Yeoboseyo, this is Hong Biseo."
"Yes,what do you need, Hong biseo?"
"Meet me at the parking lot"
"Ne." Seokhoon went down to the parking lot, he saw Hong biseo leaned at the car. He raised his phone so that Hong biseo can see him.
"Seokhoon, I have something to tell you." Sec. Hong started the conversation.
"Yes, what is it?"
"Logan is alive. I think I need to tell you this since you can be a great help for this plan to succeed. We can't trust anyone. Only you. " Seokhoon can't talk after hearing what Sec. Hong said. Sec. Hong gave him the address of the Hospital that Logan is staying in. Seokhoon can't still utter a word. Sec. Hong already left him. He went back to Penthouse without even saying a word.

The day after Seokhoon visited Logan and D-DAY
Everyone who was involved in the plan is now preparing. The kids and the adults. But only Logan, Seokhoon and the adults know the exact plan. Other Hera Kids just knew about how they were gonna trap Joo Dan Tae.
"Are you ready?" Seokhoon asks the other Hera Kids. "We have to get out of Penthouse as soon as I receive the message of halmeoni." Hyein explained what they have to do."Where are we going to stay?" Jenny asked them. "In our house. We are going to stay there for a while." Rona answered. They all agree with their next move. "Is this gonna work?What if eomma will get hurt after this?" Seokkyung worriedly asks, the other kids look at her. And Seokhoon taps his sister's shoulder and says "Don't worry, Seokkyung-ah. Everything will be fine after this. Trust me."
Seokhoon receive a message from LOgan
Seokhoon-ah, take care. See you soon.
Seokhoon smiled as he saw Logan's message. And a thought comes to his mind: I am not a Joo anymore, I am Seokhoon Lee.

Sooryeon was also preparing when she received a message from Logan.
Take care, Sooryeon-ah. I'll see you soon. You have to take care of yourself. Saranghae.
Sooryeon smiled when she saw Logan's message. It's still the same, he will always be her comfort. She prepares and packs her things. Sec Hong came and got all of her things. She held onto her ring and thought of one thing : After this, I'll be with Logan. There will be another storm to come but at least I will fight the storm with Logan. Joo Dan Tae will think he wins, let me just make him taste the money and fortune and he'll be fallen into our trap. Joo Dan Tae, your greatest downfall is your greediness for money. Sooryeon thought and looked around the beautiful yet dangerous penthouse.

She was about to leave the Penthouse when she received a call.
On call : Mama (Emma Lee)
Sooryeon: yeoboseyo?
Emma: Sooryeon-ssi....
Sooryeon: Yes, mama?
Emma: Be careful. Seojin will soon bring Logan's body to the Penthouse.
They drop the call and just wait for the right time.

(EXACT 7:30 PM)
Sooryeon was sitting on the chair in front of Seokhoon's piano. She was staring at their beautiful picture, she shed tears as she remembered what they've been through. While she was looking at their family picture, the maid called her.
This is it. Sooryeon thought and she took a deep breath and relaxed herself before putting on an act later. They went down to the basement, because of trauma, Sooryeon was kinda scared of the place. The maid looked at her and signalled her to open the door. She opened the door, and when she was about to open the plastic curtain, Logan Lee's family opened the door and entered the room along with Sec.Hong and Joo Dan Tae.
"Shim Sooryeon?!" Emma Lee said in shock.
"Ms. Emma!" Sooryeon replied and held Emma's hand. Emma threw away her hands and said "I let you get married with my grandson but I don't know you still want revenge. Why did you have to put a bomb beside Logan's car?" Emma said while sobbing. James and Stella hold Emma because she might faint anytime.
"Shim Sooryeon... I can't believe you can kill their son. You are just the same as me..." Sooryeon got mad at Joo Dan Tae and grabbed his collar. "Yah!Joo Dan Tae! I am not the one who did this! You are framing me up as what you did to Yoon Hee before." Sooryeon pushed him and slapped Joo Dan Tae. Joo Dan Tae get mad and he was about to slap Sooryeon but Logan was having a cardiac arrest that resulted in the electrocardiogram to signal a flatline. Sec. Hong rushes towards Logan and performs CPR. The bodyguards that Emma brought hold Shim SooRyeon and take her. Sooryeon kept shouting Logan's name. "Logan!Let me see, Logan!Logan!"

"How were you able to bring Logan here, Seojin-ssi?" Joo Dan Tae confusedly ask.
"It's just a matter of connection, Joo Dan Tae. I have my people too.Not just you." Joo Dan Tae raised his eyebrows when Seojin replied to him. He just flashes a smile and raises the glass of wine and cheers with Seojin. "There's no better night than this.." Joo Dan Tae said and laughed devilishly.

You are next, joo dan tae. I'll own this penthouse and you'll be left in the middle of the road begging for money. Like how you used to. A riches to rag. Seojin thought and looked at Joo Dan Tae's reflection in the big window. She moves away her glance and focuses on what she is drinking.
"Why are you so mad at Seooryeon, Seojin-ssi?" Joo Dan Tae once asked but Seojin didn't answer but Seojin just thought of what was the cause of her resentment towards Sooryeon. There's only five words that Seojin came into her mind. She. took.everything.from.me
