Chapter 49 Shelby Brothers

"Is John coming?" Y/n asked walking up the street towards the two Shelby brothers who were both having a conversation.

"Yes, get in" Tommy said holding out his hand for her to take, she took it and raised herself up into the back.

"Move over" John said getting in, Finn sighed having to sit on Y/n's lap.

"It's alright we'll be at the fair in no time" Arthur said from the front, she nodded securing him with her arms.

"John pull your bloody knees together" Y/n said, he groaned pulling them together and then Finn sat between the two of them with a bright smile.

"Ready?" Tommy asked from the front everyone nodded while Y/n patted his shoulder then moved her hand to light her cigarette.

"We going to meet the Lee's?" Y/n asked quietly leaning against the back of Tommy's chair her lips raised to his ear, he nodded knowing both of his brothers were distracted in the back.

"Got your hair knife?" He questioned quietly.

"Always" she said patting his shoulder again she sat back focusing on the trees around them, quickly driving towards the Lee camp rather then the fair.

After a while they came to a stop and Y/n sat back in the car cigarette between her lips.

"I thought you said we were going to the fair." Arthur stated annoyance in his voice.

"We have business first. Come on. Bring your wits." Tommy said opening the door in front of her and then hers, he held his hand out again which she took her dress pulling up slightly as she got out, he raised his calloused hand placing it on her bare thigh and then pulled the dress down before any of his brothers or the Lee family saw too much.

"Thank you" he said softly, she looked up at him confused but a smile soon settled on her lips seeing the glisten in his eyes.

They both focused back onto business. He let go of her hand letting her walk behind him, she raised her head to stare at the Lee's aswell as Johnny dogs.

"That's the Lee family" John said getting out.

"Tommy!" Johnny said happily arms open wide.

"Johnny dogs" Tommy stated running the end of a cigarette between his lips and then settling it there lifting a match to light it.

"Tommy, how the hell are you? Y/n!" Johnny said moving closer to them.

"All the better for getting the city smoke out of me lungs" Tommy said, Y/n smiled waving lightly at Johnny.

"I thought you became a bit too grand for us." Johnny said glancing at Tommy while Y/n walked with John and Arthur following them towards a white horse.

"I've been busy" Tommy said with a smirk, Y/n shook her head focusing on the horse as they began speaking soon flipping a coin.

"Here you are" Tommy said handing over the keys after shaking hands, Y/n smiled taking the horses reigns.

"I knew it! I knew it! Tommy, you bloody idiot." Arthur protested.

"Shut up, Arthur, I won." Tommy said looking at his brother.

"Right, good" Arthur mumbled.

"I promised Johnny, I'd let him have a spin in the car if he lost" Tommy said patting Johnny's shoulder.

"All right" Arthur said, Y/n stood straight her ears picking up the laughter of the Lee brothers, she looked down at them a few of their eyes glanced at her but soon focused on the men in front of them typical she thought to herself.
