Chapter 15 Anakin

(Clone wars time Anakin is not with Padme)

Y/n dropped down from the platform lightsaber hidden on the back of her belt her dark blue cape keeping it hidden as she swung herself down onto another platform.

"and who might you be?" a voice said behind her hearing a lightsaber ignite the buzzing making her sigh slowly turning hands raised.

"Anakin Skywalker well I never" Y/n said surprised she place one hand on the cloth round her lower face and pulled it down Anakin's face dropped as did his saber.

"Y/n?" he asked stunned by the site of his young friend.

"Ani" Y/n said lowering both hands as she took a step forward his saber ignited and was raised up towards her neck instantly feeling the burning under her chin.

"You're supposed to be dead Master Obi Wan he said you went down with your Master" Anakin said anger evident in his face.

"My Master got me on an escape pod minutes before the ship went down...i crashed hence the scars" Y/n said pointing towards her face.

Anakin nodded seeing only 2 scars, and wondered how many more she had his eyes moved down and then back up to her face lowering his saber, pulling her into a rough hug.

"What are you doing here?" Anakin asked.

"You aren't going to like this answer Ani, if I knew this was Jedi business I would have stayed clear" Y/n said moving towards a closed door, she pushed it open and Anakin followed her inside seeing a small wooden chair a very broken table, a small bag of belongings and finally a small wrap of sheets to sleep on.

"wh...why are you sleeping here, you're a Jedi Y/n" Anakin said as she sat down on the wraps of sheets nodding her head towards Anakin to sit on the chair.

"Look Anakin it's been more then a year I'm...I'm not a Jedi anymore well I am I'm just." Y/n stopped trying to think on how to explain it.

"I'm not apart of the Jedi order but I still use the force...do what I can when I ever see separatist or droids, but i get paid to do things protect people" Y/n said Anakin's face turned disgusted and she looked to the floor.

"you're a mercenary?" Anakin asked standing up.

Y/n held her hands out quickly shaking her head.

"not like that I don't kill people well unless they are bad" Y/n said standing up she took off her cape.

"you still have your lightsaber" Anakin said seeing it on her belt.

"ye I hardly use it unless I'm on jobs, look why are you here, is Kenobi or Ahsoka here aswell?" Y/n asked.

"Ahsoka yes, we are protecting Senator Amidala" Anakin said she nodded.

"that's who I've been hired to protect" Y/n said sighing.

"that's good you can join us again" Anakin said happy.

"No" Y/n said grabbing the bag she began filling it with clothes and food out of a small fridge that Anakin had not noticed.

"Come with me Y/n" Anakin said holding out his hand, she looked up at him then down to his hand shaking her head she walked past him raising her hood.

"Y/n wait" Anakin said she turned back being hit on the head with his saber hilt knocking her unconscious. Anakin's arms quickly held her up before she could fall on the floor a light trickle of blood fell down the side of her head and he lowered her to the pieces of cloth.
