Chapter VII: It was just a dream...right?

Haru was in the middle of a place she couldn't recognize, she opened her mouth to scream but nothing came out, her vocal cords felt tangled and sore and she could het a sound out of her mouth, she tried to run but her feet wouldn't move and it felt like her feet where glued down on the ground, she tried to scream again but like before, nothing came out.

Until suddenly an immense dark figure came out of her shadow, and with a mischieval smile held her tightly in his grip, slowly approaches her into his grotesque immense mouth, Terrified and incapable to move, Haru closed her eyes as the creature swallowed her whole.

After opening her eyes in what seemed to be the inside of the creature, she saw a bright a quick light of both back and white, somehow hypnotizing her until she heard a familiar voice calling her name.

" Haru..! Wake up you are having a nightmare!" Said Jack, As she quickly gasper awake from that dream breathing quickly, the Samurai slowly held her by the shoulder's to calm her down.

" Are you alright..?" Asked Jack worried, " Yes..im fine it was just a stupefaction nightmare" Replied Haru, still a bit confused, " Are you sure? You we're crying and Talking during your sleep.." Replied He.

" Don't worry about me...im sorry of i woke you up by the way" Said she, " You didn't, i was already awake " replied he.

" Good..we should probably get going" Said she before standing up, And after packing up what they needed the continued on their journey together, as time went by they decided to fill the silence by a little conversation.

" Oh so that's your real name! How come I've never asked for it before" Said Haru our of the blue, " Well yes..I dont really understand all the questioning about it to be Honest" Replied he, " I think Jack suits you better..hey by the way, i have something to ask you" Said she, the samurai looked at her waiting for her question.

" I can't stop thinking about what you said yesterday...did you lose someone Jack?" Asked she, The samurai flinched a little obviously reticent on answering, " I.. prefer to keep that to myself" replied he, with a bittersweet expression.

" I understand.. but just so you know if you ever need someone to talk to, I am always by your side Jack" Said Haru, The samurai looked at Her, with a small smile appearing on his face, " Thank you.." Replied he in a Whisper.

As they kept on walking, Haru gasped at the view of the vast ocean in from of them, "  The sea!" Said Haru in a mesmerized cheer, as Jack respond with a laugh, " Well..we could certainly be a lot faster of we went by the sea, what do you think?" Asked Jack, " It would be great" replied Haru.

And Jack talked to some sailors on their way back to the sea, they fortunately agreed on taking them, a'd when time came to embark Haru Held on tightly on the Samurai's Arm, visibly afraid of falling off the ship.

" First time on a boat?" Asked Jack, " I-isnt it obvious?" replied she, a little scared," You can hold on to me if it's too much"  assured he, Haru has let go of a small Sigh of relief, " Thank you" Replied she, as she held on him a little more.

After a moment , Haru was standing by the ledge of the boad contemplating the beauty of the sea, she had seen the sea before in pictures and in books, but never in real life, " Have you ever traveled like this Jack?" Asked she, " Yes i did" Replied he.

" and how was it ?" Asked she with a peek of curiosity, " Well...a lot of my Travels where dangerous and life-threatening.. but some other where.. surprising to say the least" Replied The samurai.

" I hope i get to travel too one day " Said she with dream filled eyes, " I am sure you will" Said Jack smiling, as Haru gently smiled back at him.

" By the way I wanted to ask you.. if you don't mind of Course" Said the samurai, Haru nodded to agree, " That nightmare you had Last night..what was it about? You looked quite terrified when you woke up and..it had me worried a bit" Asked the Samurai.

" Well...im not sure, i don't really remember much about it just the moment where i had flashes of black and white light coming over me..but it was so weird, it felt like like i was half conscious the entire time i was in that dream and it was just..so scary, You see what i mean?" Replied Haru, " I think so..i can't be a premonitory dream you had now can it?" Asked Jack.

" I don't like to see it this way.. after all it was just a dream right?" She replied while looking at Jack, " Perhaps it could" replied he with a little worried expression upon his smile.
