It was the middle of the night, the Moon was up to the sky and the guards where standing outside of Haru's door preventing her from going out, She had our what she needed the bag she Alway carries with her.

Quickly she started to put her plan into action and assembled a bunch og bed sheets together to create a long rope that she ended up attached to the bars of the balcony, when she looked down she gasped a little noticing how hight she was, and started doubting of she was going to make it or not.

She couldn't back down now, not after all the efforts she had put into his plans, " I can do it..!" She cheered to herself, as she held on tightly to the cord, slowly going down for what felt like an eternity, but she eventually made it safe and sound to the ground with a small cheerful sigh.

Without wasting any second she started walking in Jack's step's, he could already ne far away since she took a long time to escape the palace, but she didn't lose hope, as she took oit the map she had four in the documents a'd started follow the instructions written on it, she knew Jack was just trying to protect her but she couldn't just stay put while he was out there risking his life, she deserved to know the truth by her own eyes.

After a few hours of walking she found herself in the middle of a vast forest and after looking around a little she told herself it wasn't the worst places to spend the night, She had in the past read a lot of books about camping in the wild that her father brought from his trips, she remembered some useful tips and tricks from them and it was the perfect time to put them into action.

After gathering some wood and a few rocks she successfully started a fire of her own before sitting down by it, " I wonder where he could be right now.." Sighed she with a bit of worry.

Bur suddenly a noise came out of the bushes Making jump out of fear, "who's There..!" Yelled she, " Haru..? Is that you?!" asked a familiar voice.

" Jack?!" replied she, a little relieved, " What are you doing here! " Said Jack as he came closer,  " Well i- Wait Jack behind you!!" warned she.

Haru screamed at the view of a huge bear lifting itself of his back legs to attack Jack in an angry growl, but fortunately, the samurai was quick enough to avoid the bear's grip, as he ran away in the opposite direction while holding Haru's Hand with him with the Bear chasing after them.

After running for a few minutes, The Bear had finally stopped chasing after them, both of them catching their breath after such a run, " I think we should be safe here" Said Jack, " I think so too.." Asked Haru breathless, before sitting on the ground.

" What are you doing here? And how did you go out of the palace?" Asked Jack, " First, I didn't want you to go on your own, and second, am keeping this information to myself" replied she.

" But it is way too dangerous! " Said Jack, " I know Jack.. but you can't expect me to agree!, I know you are afraid of what could happen to me because of something that happened to you back then..but i am not letting you risk your life alone, please understand Jack.." Replied she with a sigh.

Jack seemed hesitant, but after a few minutes of thinking he figured out that nothing could change her mind at his point, " Very well..but you have to promise me to stay safe " Said the samurai, " I promise " Replied Haru with a little smile.

And after setting up a fire they sat down on opposite sides to warm up a bit after what happened earlier, " Didn't you go with a horse Jack?" asked Haru, " Well yes..but he got started by a little bear then ran off" replied he

As Haru laughed, " By the way, how did you expect to go there without the map?" Asked she, " There was..a map?" Said the samurai visibly confused,Making her laugh even more, " Good thing i am here then" said she, The samurai didn't respond, visibly embarrassed.

" I took some dumplings with me, you you want some?" Offered Haru, " You mean took some with you before escaping?" Replied the samurai, " Oh please!" Replied she, before tuning her head away in stubbornness, Making the samurai let go of a small laugh.

After sharing a few dumplings, Haru blessed Jack with a good night before falling asleep against the ground, using her back as a pillow, while the samurai looked at the sky with a grieving express upon his face, and with a long sigh, he decided to go to sleep as well.
