The next morning, Jack and Haru had woken up by sun rise, and as a way of the villagers to show their gratitude , they had offered them two horses and a bag of provisions to help carry on their way,After Thanking them for their hospitality, they went back on the road and it was obvious enough that it was going to be a long ride until their next destination.

A few hours went by and the Samurai noticed that Haru was being awfully silent, pehaps she was tierd after the fiest of the day before?, he turned his face to look at her and she didn't look tierd in fact, she looked sad and lost in her thought.

They continued to walk for the hole day before finally deciding to take a rest, as they sat down on the sand having fed the horses, Jack looked at Haru quite hesitant before finally deciding to break the silence.

" Are you okay..? you haven't spoken all day" Asked He, Haru, taken by suprise stutterd a bit, " A-ah..Yes i'm alright, just lost in thought's that's all" Replied she quite passively, Jack stood silent for a moment with the feeling that she wasn't being honest with him, " I hope im not being invasive..but are you sure that you are okay?, I'm here if you need someone to Listen.." Replied He, as he lifted his head to look at her with tears dripping down her cheeks, as she sobbed silently.

"I..don't think i am fin n-no.." Stuttered Hary, still crying, Jack with a worried look gently closed the distance between them to embrace her warmly into his arms as she burried her face agaist him to burry the sound of her sobbing, " it's okay..let it out Haru.." Whisperd he, " I-i just dont get it..w-why would this happen! why would any on this.." Cried she.

After a few moment's Haru had finally stopped cryin, stepping back from the samurai's touch she whiped the tear's out of her face with her eyes swollen red, " I'm sorry..i just have been thinking a lot about my familly lately, and.." Replied Haru uncertain of what she was saying, The samurai stood silent, waiting for her to collect her tought's.

" I miss them so much.. a-and yet, they tried to kill me..? sometimes i find myself praying that..this is all just a dream and none of itis real, B-but it's not.. i just don't know how to feel.." Said she while letting go of a sigh, " I understand..and i get that you are lost and mad..you don't have to feel bad about feeling bad all of this its..a lot to take in, it..hurt's when people betray you, even if they where the one who raised you.." replied He.

Haru stood silent for a moment looking down at the sand, " Is it bad to believe..thet had a reason to do so?" Asked Haru, But the samurai didn't have an answer that could possibly appease her, " Tell me how you feel..Haru" Asked jack back, before slowly putting his hand on top of her's.

" I fell..like my whole world is falling apart, that everything i-ive ever lived was a lie..! i-i guess that makes sense after all.." Replied Haru with a trembling tone, " What they did was horrible indeed..but that doesn't define who you are..you are not what your family did to you, you are Haru..and that's more than enough to me" Replied Jack.

As She lifted her head to meet with the Samurai's gaze, she was touched by what he had said with the feeling of ease that came out of his hinesty, " Thank you Jack..it means a lot to me.." whisperd she, " You are more than welcome" replied He.

As the samurai lifted his hand to gently place it on her cheek, whiping a small tear on the corner of her face, slowly making an unexpected eye contact. " We should sleep..long day tomorow" Said Haru, while nervously looking away, Jack quickly backed his hand to his side and nervously nodded in agreement, as they bit to eachother goodnight, before falling asleep on the warm sand.
