The return of Aku. { Samurai Jack Fanfiction }

Chapter XIII: the journey just began.

The next morning, Jack and Haru where already up by the first lights of the sunrise, as Jack was meditating to recolect this thoughts, Haru was peacefully collecting some berries she had found nearby before offering some to Jack.

And as they where eating, Jack noticed that Haru had a thoughful expression, pehaps something was on her mind?, " Is something wrong?" asked Jack, " No no.., iam just thinking about something that's all" replied Haru, " What is on your mind?" Asked Jack curious.

" Well...i've been thinking a lot since yester day and i think i have a theory bout what is happening" Replied Hary, Jack didn't respond, but he was more than eager to now what she was about to say, " so you told me that..Aku was able to appear because of a rare blood moon..and since in this world your father killed Aku this means that the blood moon didn't happen yet! so i've been thinking that maybe..we aren't in some sort of past or future, maybe we are in a whole other reality where the event's of our wold are different from here!, a reality where neither you or me exist's" Shouted Haru proudfully.

Jack was rather confused by her rather scientific explanation, but was able to understand the overall message she was trying to say, " So..how come we didn't dissapear?" Asked Jack, " Well..since our original still dimension still exists and nothing happend to it yet..We technecallu still exist too! " Replied Haru.

The Samurai stayed a moment thoughful, " So you are saying that this is not our original world? but then what happened days earlier with the Man and the demon's..Maybe he must have had some kind of..arragement with them, in exchange of their power he would give them something in return..maybe what they want is to bring back Aku as well" Said Jack.

" I..didn't think that far off but that makes sense" Replied Haru with a small sigh, Jack slowly stood up, " We Have to stop them" Said Jack, " But..where do we even begin?" Asked Haru as she stood up next to him, " First, we should leave this place, if i am not wronng they must have been preparing this for a long time now so they are propablu ahead of us by now..and the next blood moon must be in a few months from now on" Replied Jack, " A few month's?...Do you think we can stop them in time?" asked She.

" I..believe in us, last time this happened it took me 50 years to come back home, i was alone and lost in a futuristic world..But i know this world and well...I am not alone this time " Said Jack with a smile of hope upon his face as he turned his eyes to Haru who was looking at him with glitters in her eyes, and with a bright smile shaping itself upon her cheeks, " Yeah..neither of us is alone" Replied Haru.

After a few moments of walking Haru noticed from afar that the bittle boat she used to come here earlier was still here waiting for her, or more exactly for them this time?, As Haru pulled the samurai in it with her as they sat down, Jack tried to figure where were placed the boat oars, she was shocked to notice the boat was moving by itself.

" What..is happening right now?" Asked the Samurai, " Well..it's a long story really, but i think someone or something is looking out for us, they want us to succed on defeating Aku" Replied Haru, As Jack looked at her quiete suprised, it wasn't the fitst time he had been in contact with godlike entities before and he has definetly seen some of them in the past, so needless to say he wasn't as suprised as he though he would be to heart this.

As Haru was looking in the horizon, she took a deep calming breath through her nose before letting go og a soft smile, the both of them stood silent for the rest of the trip calmly looking at the water beneath them, and after all it was only the beggining of their long journey together.
