The return of Aku. { Samurai Jack Fanfiction }

Chapter XXIX: Rest day.

It was dark at night with the starts and moon as the only provider of lights, Haru was outside looking at the sea, with the sounds of the water waves hitting themselvs agaisn't the boat, She yawned a little while Jack approaches her side, " Why dont you come inside to rest a bit?" Asked He, "I would..if your friend wasn't snoring so loud" Replied She, therefore making him laugh, " You have a point" Said he before sitting down.

As they looked  at the stars, Haru started humming a little lullaby while Jack looked at her silently, simply enjoying the softness of her voice, and smiled as she finishes, " That was beautiful" Said He, Haru simply smiled softly, before gently pulling the samurai toward's her into a warm embrace, Jack flusterd a bit to the sudden gesture but leant towards her touch,, pressing his head agains't her neck to embrace her back.

" Is something wrong?" Asked Jack, " No, not at all..you looked cold, and i wanted a hug so" Whisperd Haru before putting a gentle kiss of the samurai's forehead making him turn red to the ears, " And what was that for?" Asked Jack a little flusterd, " Well...i just wanted to give you a kiss, it's not a crime to show affection is it?" Replied she letting go of a sweet laugh, " N-no it's just..i'm still getting used to this" Replied He shyfully.

" Well you'll get used to it eventually"Said Haru while twisting the samurai's hair between her finger, " And what is that supposed to mean?" Said Jack with a little smile in her corner of is face, while Haru stood embarassigly silent her cheeks turning bright pink, But as she was about to open her mouth to answer, the Scotsman bursted out suddenly, " Hey people are trying to sleep over here!" Screamed the Scotsman as The both of them bursted into laughter.

The following day, the ship had dropped them off to their destination and it was very obvious that the Scotsman was excited to see his family again, so much so that he spent all day talking about his wife and daughters.

After finally arriving to the village, the people greeted The Scotsman and the samurai with great joy, crowding them in the matter of seconds to celebrate their arrival, " You came back ye old runt!" Said one of the villagers, "Course i did! and guess who i found after all!" Said the scotsman while Tapping the Samurai's shoulder, while Jack simply smiled at the crowd, before jumping in suprise at a huge scream coming from outside the crowd," DAAAD!!" Yelled unanimously a group of girls right after seeing the Scotsman, " Me sweeheart's  come here!" Yelled the Scotsman before taking all of his daughters into a huge embrace.

" Aww aren't they adorable?" Said Haru, before suddnly being pulled by Flora, one of the Scotsman daugther's, " Oh my god ther's another girl with us! come with us we'll show you around!!" Said Flora excitedly, And before Haru could object she was already being taken away by all the girls, while Jack had let go of an involotary laugh at the scene, " Ah teenagers! She'll be fine..i think" Said the Scotsman laughing.

After a few hours went by, Jack and The Scotsman where sitting in a tavern to catch up about everything that was happening, " and i was saying, the person that i was talking to you about was shown to be at the next city going sout, You both should check it out there if you want more informations", Said the Scotsman, " You're not coming Scotsman?" Asked Jack, " I have to stay here to prepare my people for a fight!, after all we are going to destroy Aku again aren't we? we have to be ready Laddie!" Replied the Scotsman.

The Samurai laughed at the enthusiasm of the Scotsam, while Haru enterd the Tavern letting go of an exhausted sigh with  her hair a lot messier than usual Before sitting besides them at the table, " Ah you're Back! i hope my girls where good to you i've always taught them good maners" Said the Scotsman, "  Oh the where adorable don't worry about that..but so energetic! you must be very proud " Said Haru while catching her breath, " Course i am! thats me girls" Said the Scotsman proudly.

" But as we where saying, we should consider leaving as soon as possible, since we have demons chasing after us i wouldn't want them to destroy your village Scotsman" Said the samurai, " Tomorow then! you stay tonight and rest and we'll put you two back on the road tomorow, that's the least we could do for all ya did Buddy" Replied the Scotsman.

After getting out of the tavern, Jack and Haru decided a walk around the village for a little while, It was almost the end of the aftertoon and the sun was slowly sitting and the day had gone rather peacefully for them so far, " And then, They started playing with my hair and telling me all kinds of stories i didn't know who to listen anymore! of goodness they are restless" Laughed Haru, " Sounds like you enjoyed yourself" Replied Jack with a gentle smile,  " Of course i did, and you look quite Happy as well not to say the least" Said Haru.

" I am.. It's was nice to have spoken to the Scotsman, brought back a lot of good memories..this world is so odd, nothing is makes any chronological sense whatsoever and yet, i find myself enjoying the fact that the Scotsman remembered me " Said Jack, " Well..this world is quite messy and Chaotic, but we can still enjoy the good things about it when there is " Said Haru gently smiling.

As they both sat on the grass, Jack took the opportunity to gently fix her hair, though he got in quite a trouble considering how curly they where but he eventually managed to make a decent looking braid out of them, pulling small flowers off the ground to finalize the look, as Haru turned to the Samurai with a bright smile, " Well now how do i look?" Asked she, " Stunning" Replied he with a Soft tone.

Haru was about to respond until ches suddenly interupted by Jack who had laid on a rapid kiss upon her lips, and in an istant she flusterd in embarassment at the sudden gesture of his, " W-what was that for?" Said she nervously, " Well i wanted to give you a kiss..it's not a crime to show affection, is it?" Said the samurai, knowing the game he had just pulled over her.

Haru was stunned by the Samurai using her own words agaisn't her in such a way, and yet she couldn't help herself but laugh at it making Jack join her in her laughter, " I can't believe you making fun of me like that!" Said she, " I'm sorry it was so tempting" Laugthed the samurai, before getting his face squiched in between Haru's hands, pinching his cheek's lightly, before he could do the same to her their eyes suddenly meet into a loving gaze.

As the Samurai blushes a little, " May i kiss you more..? Asked he, a little shy, while Haru simply nodded in agreement, bashful as well, as Jack slowly closed the distance between them to push a gently kiss agains't ger lips, to wich she instantly reciprocated by passing her hands on his neck, while he pressed his agaisn't her waist, therefore pulling each other closer.

And as they slowly closed their eyes to enjoy the moment, they suddenly got interrupted by the Scotsman that happened to be walking by, " Laddie! i got you a place to stay for the ni- Whoops didn't mean to interrupt!" Said the Scotsman suprised, as both Hary aand Jack jumped back from each other in embarassement, " Well i guess i have to give you two livebirds a little more privacy" Said the Scotsman in laughter," N-no no no! w-we're comming right now!" Said Haru in a embarassed hight pitched tone with her face burning red,  Making the Scotsman Laugh even more. 

 The Scotsman walked them to the chambers to where they would be staying the night,and after bidding each other goodnight, they went on to rest for the night, as another day was awaiting them tomorow.
