The return of Aku. { Samurai Jack Fanfiction }

Chapter VIII: Separation.

The next morning Jack and Haru finally arrived at their destination, and after thanking the sailors for taking them on their way, they stepped out of the boat only to realize that the island they where in was terribly sinister, and Jack could sense within him the evil lurking around this place.

" Stay close" Warned the Samurai, Haru Nodded as a response, sensing the oddness of this place as well, she Held on the Samurai's Gi the moment they started walking.

Jack was vigilant about every sounds and mouvement that where happening around them, with his right hand tightly holding on his sword, as they walked further, Jack immediately stops after hearing a small sound coming from the bushes in frony of the, as He took out his sword without hesitation, " Haru stay behind me, we are not alone" Said The samurai.

And without having the time to respond, three spies jumped out of their hiding spot directly running towards the samurai, all three wearing black clothing to blend more easely with the gloominess of this island and a beast shaped mask with sharp teeths coming out of the sides of its mouth , Jack was surrounded by every possible angle, and within the matter of a second he was able ta take down two of them, as they didnt even stand a chance against the swiftness and agility of the Samurai in the first place.

But one of them managed to get away, the Samurai rapidly turned around only to notice that Haru wasn't behind him anymore, as he immediatly heard her Scream as she was being taken away by the third spy, " Jack!!" Screamed she at the top of her lungs, and without wasting an instand, Jack immediatly started chasing after them as fast as he could.

As the spy was running towards what seemed to be a old abandoned temle to wich he enterd buy jumping through a window high up, As for Haru she was despratly hitting him to his chest with her legs to escape his grip, but failed eventually when the spy decided to tie her up with a strong rope preventing her from moving, " Let me go" Orderd she' as the man in front of her stood unresponsive, before draging her into some sort of ceremonial room, as he threw her in the middle of the room carelessly.

She hissed a bit in pain because of the impact of the ground, before lifting her head only to he Horrified by the view of an immense statue of a terrifying creature with a dark and long body, ans pointy theeth coming out of his mouth with the most dreadful look in its eyes, after a short moment a glancing into the statue she gasped as she immediately recognized that it wasn't any statue, it was a Aku, and as soon as she realized that, a Huge overwhelming Drum sound started to play. indicating it was the beginning of the ceremony.

People wearing long ceremonial robes started to enter the room, putting themselves in a cercle around Haru before chanting in a unrecognizable language, As Haru looked at them un utter fear she recognized two familiar silhouettes, " Mother!! Father!! I neg of you stop this madness!!" Screamed she.

Both of them stood still, as if nothing in the world was able to get a reaction out of them, not even the cries of a daughter, as Haru Cried once against to them " MOM PLEASE!! DONT DO THIS!!" Cried Haru, One of the silhouette seemed to have lifted their head, Looking at her with regret filled eyes. As a Man came from Behind Haru, it must have been their leader, holding her By the hair forcing her neck to be visible, so that she could put a sharp knife underneath it.

Haru Gasped in terror as she felt the knife ready to tear her apart in a split second, and before it could, The Samurai abruptly opened the doors on the room, Interrupting the ceremony, " Jack!!" yelled Haru, Before kicking the man's face with the back of her head, forcing his mask to fall down, revealing a inhumaine grotesque face.

The leader growls in rage, " Stop the Samurai!! all we need is the girl.!!" Said he, as he took her away abruptly, as for all the other participants were starting to attack the samurai, but again where no match as she shoved them away in a second, before running off to the leader, ready to slay him with his sword, " Take one more step, and the girl dies!" threaten the leader, before putting a dagger at Haru's Neck one more Time.

Jack stopped moving to look at Haru, As she was breathing rapidly and in a impulsive careless movement she immediately bit into the leader's Hand, she big so hard that some blood came out of it, as she flinched in pain pushing Haru away from his grip, As jack immediately catches her at the last moment.

" You little Bi- You regret this!!" Threaten the leader, As Jack untied Haru, The man started go chant in the same unrecognizable Language, but this time this face was getting more and more deformed, his eyes turning bright red.

As the samurai was expecting Aku to appear, The earth started trembling, as the man kept on chanting as he was visibly in deep pain, as demon figures started to appear on the ground sucking all the life forge out of the man.

Until a portal opened from underneath the Earth, a familiar portal to Jack, " We'll come back Samurai...on a world where you are at your most disadvantage." threatened the man before falling into the portal.

What they didn't realize is that A piece of the rope was still attached to Haru's Ankle, as for the other Half of the rope was getting sucked into the portal, " Haru the rope!!" said the Samurai alerted, but it was too late, because at the moment Haru realized she was still attached she started getting dragged into the portal, while despretaly to fight agaisnt it, " Jack!!" screamed she as she was about to let go.

And without hesitation, Jack jumped into the portal as well, as he despratly reached out to hold her hand's as the power of the portal was driving away from each other, " I dont think we're going to make it Jack!" shouted Haru, as her hands slips from his, " The village ! you have to meet me at the village Haru!!" screamed the Samurai.as both of the were drifting in opposites sides of the portal.

Haru closed her eyes in fear, not knowing what is waiting for her from now on, but she is certain of one thing, That they have to find their way to each other in the village once more.
