The return of Aku. { Samurai Jack Fanfiction }

Chapter II: A woman called Haru Katsubara.

The sun was slowly rising, wich meant that it was the Begging of the day.

As the light passes through the window, Haru was admiring the morning colors, of course it wasn't the first time she had seen mornings like that, but there ones where special, the bird's where singing to the gentle breeze the flowers where slowly blooming as the sun lights touches them, Those morning meant only one thing, The Begging of spring.

Haru stood up to open her closed, to wich she chooses to put on a pink dress her mother had given her last year, She looked at herself in the mirror, Curly brown Hair with emerald green eyes, and some freckles on top of her cheeks, She asked herself if she was pretty for a moment, before deciding it wasn't worth all the questioning.

After that she went downstairs to the kitchen, as her mother was sitting at the table reading some kinds documents, " Good morning mom!" said Haru happily, Her mother jumped a little startled, before hiding the documents between her hands, " Good morning my little pumpkin, its so early for you be awake" Said her mother lovingly, " Well i felt like it, what where you reading?" asked Haru.

" Just a bunch of paperwork Darling, speaking of which i have to tell you something" replied her Mother, " What is it?" Said Haru, while putting on her apron, ready to prepare the breakfast, " Me and your father have to leave for work for a month, you have everything you need at home to stay on your own until we get back" said her mother.

" Oh i see, Well.. couldn't i just come with you this time? It gets really lonely in here " Said Haru, " Haru you know how your father gets, plus it is dangerous for you outside" replied her mother.

As Haru opened her mouth to protest, Her father came to the kitchen a little irritated of all the noises.

" What is all that noise about?" Asked he, " Ah! Good morning Father i was just asking mom if...i could perhaps come with you this time on your work trip?" Asked Haru, " Absolutely not i forbid it" Replied he, quite Harshly.

" Please i beg you father! I promise I'll be good i won't cause you any trouble i swear!" Begged Haru, " I said No!" Shouted he, " Vernon please! Don't shout at her" Said Kana, her mother, As Haru flinched back, she hated to hear him yell at her, and she knew of she continues asking, it would only anger him even more,

" Okay father..im sorry" Said Haru, lowering her gaze, " Good, you should be sorry, asking such things" Said Vernon with a satisfied tone.

As the hours went by, Haru had helped them pack what they needed for their trip, as her mother held her tightly in her arms giving her a soft kiss of the forehead, " Now you know i love you My pumpkin" Said Kana, " I love you too mom" Said Haru, with a smile, " I'll miss you very much..okay now we don't want to keep your father waiting" Said Kana, As she walked through the door, getting into the carriage with Vernon, as Haru stood there watching the Carriage drifting away.

After a few days, Haru was dying out of boredom, she had read every book she could find payed every sheet of music she had on the piano, done everything she could come up with to pass the days, but nothing felt as fulfilling as she imagined it would be, she looked at the door for a moment, wondering how bad could it be if she went our for a few minutes?, After all they couldn't know.

She walked in front of the door a little hesitant, she went out before but never on her own, What if something bad happens?, She kept on questioning herself  even though her mind and body where Screaming for her to fo outside.

At a count of three, she stepped out, of the mansion, and took a deep breath of the fresh hair, she couldn't believe what she just did, the overwhelming feeling of freedom took over her, erasing the fear and anxiety she had been feeling for so long, she began to laugh a little.

Immediately after, she started to walk away from the house, confident on finding the way back herself, as she admired the world she never could see on her own before, " This is not dangerous..this is beautiful!" Said she.

As she kept on walking further and further away from home, feeling her self on a little cloud on happiness, later will she know it was the best mistake she's ever made.
