The return of Aku. { Samurai Jack Fanfiction }

Chapter XIV: the feeling of being watched.

It was late at night, as the boat suddenly stopped against the land instantly waking Jack and Haru because of the impact of the ground, as they took their time to figure out where they had landed, Jack helped Haru get out of they boad, before noticing it drifting away into the evaporating water therorefore letting them now that this was their destination.

After a moment of walking, Jack suddenly stopped as he immediatly sensed the presence of a evil force lurking around them, " Stay close Haru" Whisperd Jack while putting himself in position, but was stund as he watched Haru fallinf down her knees on the ground " Jack..something isn't right..something is.." Replied Haru painfully, as Jack had lowerd himself to help her get back up, " Something is what..?" replied the samurai worrily.

" Something is..b-Behing you jack!" screamed Haru suddenly getting back to her senses, and without wasting a sesond the samurai turned his head to meet eyes to eyes with an immense shadowy beast thet bursted out of the darkness to attack the Samurai, scratching his back with his shap claw.

The samurai Hissed a bit in pain, not even able to put himself back into position, the beat attacked the Samurai one more time but the samurai was ready and dodged it in pure agility, the Beast growled in rage and it attacked the samurai multiple times in a row, but utterly failed to hit the samurai.

As Jack took out his sword to cut the monster in half, she suddenly got hit by the now growing tail of the beast, letting go of his sword and as he tired to get back up, the monster had positioned it self, ready to tear the samurai Apart.

Jack closed his eyes ready to get hit, as he heard the sound of the creature vanishing in a high pitched painfull scream, the samurai opened his eyes to meet with Haru holding his sword in her shaking hand's, she was breathing rapidly still in the shock of what she just did.

As she feel down her knees one more time letting go of the sword on the ground, Jack had immediatly stood up to run towards her worried, but before he could say anything, she immediatly took him into her arms, holding onto him as tightly as she could, as he didn't hesitate to reciprocate the gesture and held her back as well.

" A-are you okay..?! " said the samurai concerned, " I-am the one who is supposed to ask!, did it hust you, oh goodness i got so scared.." replied Haru, " It's nothing i can take it..but happened to you earlier..?" asked the samurai.

" I dont know...i felt something really overwhelming and..watching us..and turns out there was" Replied Haru, " So you are able to sense them too..we shouldn't stay here there, are you tierd? do you need me to carry you?" offered Jack, " No no i'm okay..oh goodness jack you are bleeding!" Gasped Haru while looking at the injury the moster has inflicted on the samurai's back.

" I am? do not worry about it i can heal myself easily enough" Reasured Jack, " stay still, i have something to help stop the bleeding" Replied Haru, as she slowly stood up on her knees, and before the samurai could protest, she was taking out s small bottle of some sort of medical mixture, and without a word Jack slowly took down the top of his Gî while Haru positioned herself behind him, slowly pressing her finers agaisn't his back while inspecting the gravity of the injury, as the samurai shever's at her touch," I'm gooing to heal it..it its going to burn a little okay?" whisperd she, " I can take it" Whipered he back.

After that, Haru carefully pressed a piece of cloth soaked in medecine on his cut's, to wich he gasped a bit in pain at the feeling of his burning injuries before slowly noticing one of Haru's Hand lowering itself on his, it was her way of helping the samurai handle the pain, and with little hesitation, he took it, slowly pressing it with his finger's in between her's, and with a sigh he felt himself a bit more relieved as his injuries weren't burning anymore.

" And we are done!" replied Haru cheerefully, " T-thank you Haru " Whisperd Jack, " It's my plueasure" Replied Haru with a tender smile, as she lifted her head to notice that the sun was rising in front of them, admiring the morning colors of the morning, Jack on the other hand lifted his to look at her, she held on such a peaceful anf graceful expression, the sun light's slowly puttins itself upon the corner of her eyes making him feel absolutely mesmerized, it was the first time that he realized how beautiful she is, before also noticing he was still holding her hand, but she wasn't letting go either.

" It is so..beautiful" Said Haru with s soft smile, " Indeed it is...or where you talking about the view?" Asked Jack, " Yes i mean the view..what do you think i meant?" replied Haru with a small laught, as the Samurai's cheeks tunred light pink, " I-I Yes the view! my apologies" Replid he Akwardly.

Haru getntly stood up letting go of the samurai's hand, she took took a moment to look at the horizon and eventually pointed her finger on to what seemed to be a small village from afar, " There is a village over there!, what do you think we go take a look down there?" Asked Haru, " Well i dont see why not, we could be able to get horses to held us on our journey too".

" How exciting! i've never been on a horse before" cheered Haru, before immediatly started to walk twards the village without waiting for the samuari, as he Called her name while trying he best he could to keep up with her.
