The atmosphere was dark and gloomy, in a room with only a candle as the only source of light, stood a man sitting in his desk chair, mumbling worlds in a unknown language.
Behind him,a hesitating lady , twisting her fingers anxiously," Vernon..i think we need to talk..", the man lifted his Head, " What again, Kana?" Said Vernon, in a rather annoyed tone.
" i.. can't do this anymore Vernon, you know I am at my limits!..you are hunting her now!? You promised me you weren't going to kill her and that you just needed her blood!" Cried Kana, " the ritual was about to be completed!!, We where going to have him back!, If only you weren't so INCOMPETENT!" should Vernon angrily.
" YOU! wanted him because you know you did this to him you killed out SON! and know you are trying to do the same with our daughter!!" Screamed back Kana. " She is NOT my daughter!" Replied Vernon, slamming his hand at the desk, "And neither is she yours! If you wanted to leave you could have!!" Screamed he.
" I was afraid of what you could do to Her! I know what you capable of Vernon, you slaughtered her family... imagine what you have been capable of doing to her of i wasn't here!!" Replied She, " I'm leaving..iam not a part of this anymore.." said Kana before grabbing a bag she had prepared earlier.
" Ah i see, and what are you going to do? Find her? Apologize to her? Tell her that you always loved her?! She saw you the say of the sacrifice!! As if she was ever going to forgive a mother that didn't even dared to interfere?!, She HATES you, she would probably wouldn't care to see you dead by now." Threatened Vernon.
"..You are a sick man Vernon.. whatever happens to me i don't care, we jumped in the portal with them, so whatever it takes i will find her, and make sure she never,never! Get sacrificed to fix your mistakes." Said Kana before Opening the door.
" KANA! Please..i love you.. don't leave me when i need you most.." Replied he, almost crying.
Kana held herself from crying, she had heard those words before, many times even,those words that will Always pinch her heart in the most sensible spot to make her stay, but she knew he wouldn't change, that he was just using her as always.
-"..Goodbye Vernon" she whispered, before slamming the door.
