Ch4. Truth

"What are we going to do!" Amethyst shouted.

"I don't know! But at least everyone is gone! So no one could get hurt!" Garnet shouted.

"Steven's shield could be in handy right now!" Amethyst added.

"But he isn't here! He is safe out of town. And y/n as well! They both are safe!" Pearl exclaimed.

"Hey guys!" Steven shouted. All the gem turned around and saw Y/n and Steven.

"Steven! What are you doing here! You both should get out of here!" Pearl shouted .

"But we want to help!" Y/n shouted.

Tell them! Tell them! It's now or never!

"You two should leave! It's dangerous here!" Pearl added.

"There's no time! Steven! Y/n! Get behind us!"

As the gems stood in place for a fight the big hand settled on the sand opening it's palm

A green marble ball emerged from it and rolled onto the sand.

Suddenly gems appeared from the ball.

"That's them alright. They are the ones destroying my machines.." peridot..

"This is it?" Who's that?

Peridot kept whining about her machines getting destroyed.

"Another waste of my time..hey! Get over here!"

Jasper pulled another gem..it was lapis.

"Lapis?" Steven whispered.

"You need to leave immediately!" Garnet shouted.

"Yeah! Stay off!" Amethyst added.

"Neither of you's saw Rose quartz? What a shame..Id hope to meet her to beat her to the ground. But this is all that's left of her army?.." Jasper asked jumping of the platform to the ground. She turned her attention to Steven and Y/n.

"What is that?" Jasper asked.

"It calls themselves Y/n and Steven." Peridot answered.

At that time Y/n remembered that time when her and Steven talked to peridot through a screen back in the kindergarten.

"They are only human! They aren't a threat! They aren't like them!" Lapis plead

"I know what a human is. You don't need me for this..Just blast them with the ship." Jasper said turning on her heel.

"Fine.." peridot said using her technology to move the ship. One of its fingers pointed down to them.

It's point began to shine. It was going to blast them. "Steven! Y/n! Get out of here!" Garnet shouted.

"No!" Steven plead.

"I won't let you risk your lives!"

"But this is my home! You're all my family!" Steven said.

"I'm—Im...I'm a crystal gem too!" As Steven walked in front of the gems his gem began to glow.

As the blast was about to go full force to the gems Steven jumped in front and formed his shield.

Jasper turned and saw it. "That shield! That symbol!" She exclaimed.

Steven then collapsed on the floor.

Y/n ran up to him."you have the power of rose quartz!" Jasper added.

"Fire a barrage, wide spread!" Jasper told Peridot.

Y/n looked up at the Finger. It was firing up again.

It's time! It's time! You can do it! Do it for the gems! For Steven! Call yourself a crystal gem too! Nel shouted in Y/n head.

Y/n took of her glove reveal her gem. "Back off my friends!" Y/n shouted as her gem glowed.

A pink shield appeared in front of her and the others.

"Another one? How it that possible!" Jasper shouted.

"Y/n? You have a gem too!?" Steven asked excitedly getting up.

As the shield closed it cause Y/n to fall back but Garnet catches her.

"I knew you'd come around" garnet said looking down at her with a smile.

"Which one is rose quartz then!? Who ever she is. Why does she look like that? So weak!" Jasper said.

"Don't hurt them!" Lapis chimed.

"You knew about this!" Jasper shouted.

"It was relevant to the mission!"

"Forget about the mission! Yellow diamond has to see this" Jasper interrupted Lapis.

Jasper was about to charge at Steven but Garnet stepped in front.

Just as garnet was about to charge as Jasper she was hit with a weapon which made her crumble to pieces and to poof.

Two gem laid on the ground. Y/n and Steven stood there shocked with what happened.

Jasper walked up to Steven and picked him up from the shirt.

"This is sick..—"

"Unhand him!" Y/n shouted forming her shield pushing Jasper backward and getting in front of Steven.

"I don't know what your planning rose, but look. Your base is taken! Your armies are ruined..." y/n was frightened of what will Jasper do next.

Her shield disappeared off command.

Jasper walked up to y/n and picked her up.

She struggled to get Jasper off.

"You've have failed!" Y/n looked directly into Jasper eyes seeing vengeance.

Eventually Y/n blacked out from the head-butt from Jasper. She did the same to Steven but he got a black eye.

All the gems were thrown into cells in the ship.

The ship left earth and headed straight to space.
