Ch26. Amber

"Y/n! Wake up! Please! Tell me you're okay! Y/n!" Nel shouted shaking Y/n.

"Oh hush. She'll be fine. I just need to give her more power when she wakes." Y/n's mother said.

"You know that could kill her? Amber!? Don't you care about your daughter? For once?" Nel shouted holding Y/n tight.

Amber froze. "O-of course. She's my daughter. I just need to give her the life she deserves." Amber answered cleaning up a field of trash.

"Her life was perfect in earth! Without you! With the gems. Her aunt and cousin. With spinel..she was happy! She was herself again! You ruined her life!"

"I'm fixing her disgusting life! Her with those crystals gem. With that pink gem. Those distracted her from what she is meant to be—"

"An experiment!? A toy? You're only using her!"

"Ugh. You've gotten so protective of her. Pink Pearl! Step forward!" Amber shouted

Volleyball appeared from a push all hurt.

"Volleyball..?" Nel whispered.

"Volleyball? Is that the name he's given her? Ha! That's. Ridiculous! Good thing I've got the diamonds pearls back. I always have to do everything! Now that Steven made peace across the universe the diamonds have gotten weak. It's pathetic"

Volleyball stood beside Nel who was still holding Y/n.

"What's your plan..?" Nel asked.

"To get everything how it used to be! Y/n is the substitute of Pink! I can't believe she gave her form to that Steven. I even told her not too. But she fell in love with Greg. Oh well. I'll fix everything. Jasper!"

Heavy stomped were heard behind Nel.

"Jasper!? How many gems did you get!?" Nel exclaimed.

"All the gems I need." Amber said brushing off her hands.

"The gems I think will do Y/n good. For example; I saw how Y/n fought Jasper. It seemed to do some good to her fighting Skills. But with Pink's Pearl? Ha! She was just showing her nonsense." Amber laughed.

"Have you been?—"

"Come on. Did you really think I'll leave her alone with the power she's capable of? She doesn't even know what she's capable of. After I took her away from Greg and onto my other ex-boyfriend. I saw that all I needed is Y/n. She'll be a great Diamond. I'll teach her how to be a diamond. And it'll be how it used to be!"

"But y/n doesn't have a gem..she's like Steven. He was given us gem. Or more like handed down." Nel added.

" but that's why I brought you, my dear! You and Her Pearl will be right by her side!..and it seems she's waking up! Perfect! She can start her training right" Amber said.

"Jasper! Follow me!"

Jasper huffed and walked around Nel and towards Amber.

"Ow..my head hurts..what happened?..wait. Wheres' spinel!?" Y/n shrieked.

"Don't worry about her, darling! She's probably looking for you. But she's in perfect condition!" Amber cheered.

"N-nel"

"It's okay. It's okay. I'm here" Nel said comforting Y/n.

"Do not be afraid Y/n. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just her to help! Come along, my dear! Up you go!" Amber pulled Y/n up.

"Your Pearl and Nel stay behind."

"My Pearl?..Volleyball!" Y/n turned and was about to see if she was okay but Amber pulled her back.

"No need to go all soft. She's fine see! Now come on! We have to prep you up before seeing the diamonds!"

"The..diamonds?" Y/n repeated.

"Mhm! Jasper! It's time to start! Positions!"

"Jasper!? Mom what the heck? Why are you bringing in other gems?"

"For my plan, dear. Don't worry. I just needed to convince them to come" Amber said with a smile.

"Now. First you're gonna practice with this Hologram! Pearl!"

"It's Volleyball. Mom" y/n corrected.

"Y/n—"

Y/n glared at Amber.

"Ugh fine. Volleyball please. The hologram."

Volleyball walked over creating a hologram of her.
"Alright! Time to train!"

"Why'd she take Y/n and Nel!?"

"We have to get her back!!"

"What that her mother!?"

Everyone was gathered around Pearl.

"Everyone hush up! I'm talking on the phone with Y/n's aunt!" Pearl shouted.

Spinel was outside still taking in what just happened.

"Where's spinel?" Steven asked a bit worried.

Connie pointed outside.

Steven walked down the stairs and walked up to Spinel.

"She looked so..afraid. But she still protected me. And I stood there and did nothing! I was useless! I just wanted a perfect moment with her! Was this...was this my fault?" Spinel muttered tears streaming down her cheeks.

Steven sat down and side-hugged her.

"Of course it wasn't! You never knew this was gonna happen. Neither did she or anyone else. Spinel..we'll figure out something. Like always. Come on. Let's go inside and plan something. Let's get Y/n back" Steven said determined extending his hand out to Spinel.

Spinel smiled having hope and took his hand.

"Let's get Y/n back"
