Ch18. Hangout.

-Narrator's POV-
The sun began to rise, meaning it was morning. 
Y/n was still sound asleep. But spinel wasn't. She just stayed in bed having on arm around y/n's waist making sure this is real.

Eventually Y/n began to shuffle in her spot. Spinel took her shot and began poking Y/n.

"What the heck..?" Y/n muttered.
"Who is— oh. Hi spinel." Y/n said sitting up.

"Yay! Your awake! I thought something happened to you. You were sleeping for a while~" spinel explained sitting up.

Y/n rubbed her eyes. "It's just something we humans do. We sleep over night to get energy for the next day." Y/n explained.

"Can you move please? I have to go to the bathroom." Y/n said getting out of bed.

Spinel followed.

"What's a bathroom?" Spinel questioned.

"Um..a bathroom is a place for someone to have privacy and to do their business." Y/n explained standing in the doorway of the bathroom.

"I'll be out in a bit. I'm just going to get myself cleaned up. Okay?" Y/n said.

"Okay. Don't take long" spinel said. Y/n closed the door and Spinel sat down on the floor waiting for her best friend.

"Oh hey spinel! What are you doing?" Nel asked walking down the hallway. "Waiting for Y/n! She's in the...um there" Spinel could remember what Y/n said so she just pointed to the door.

"Oh the bathroom. Okay. When she's done tell her to come to the kitchen. Okay? Bye" Nel then walked into Y/n room.

"It's pretty chilly today. So how about you wear this! I haven't seen you wear it." Nel suggested to Y/n.

"I haven't seen that hoodie in a while. I guess it's fine. I texted Steven. We are going to meet up in Little Home-world." Y/n explained to Nel.

"Spinel want to come along?" Y/n asked spinel who was messing with a Rubix cube Y/n had.

"Mm? Oh sure!"

"Okay. Here...where this." Y/n looked into her closet and threw a dark pink sweater to Spinel.

"What's this for?" She asked examining the sweater.

Y/n chuckled. "Here. Put your arm through here. No the other one. This is for keeping you warm. If you feel cold. I didn't ask—do you want to wear it or I'll—"

"I'll wear it!" Spinel quickly interrupted.

"Haha. Okay. Nel? You coming?"

"What? Oh no. I'll stay here. Now go on! I have a few things to do!" Nel said pushing Y/n and spinel out.

"Okay! But don't reorganize my room!"

"Okay bye!"

"So..? What are you and Nel supposed to be? I think I remember you telling me. I'm not sure." Spinel asked.
