Ch5. Escape.

-y/n POV-

Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Y/n wake up! We are in a ship!

"Huh?!" I shot up from my slumber.

"Good you are awake!" Nel was in front of me.

"You got a bruise on your forehead. But I'm sure it will fade away in a few days" Nel said rubbing my head.

"We got..captured?" I said getting up wobbling a bit.

I went in front of what ever was preventing us to not get out. I placed my finger into it.

"No! Don't— oh you aren't affected by it." Nel said observing my action.

I full put my arm through it which made an opening.

Glowing Yellow lines began to spread across my arms. "G-go o-on through! T-this f-feels w-weird!" I said stuttering because of the lines affecting me. Nel passed through and so did I.

"This place is huge!" I said looking around.

"Hey! Hey! Stay low! You don't know who could be around the corner!" Nel hushed me.

"Y/n?" I turned and saw Steven..with a black eye. And another gem.

"Steven!" I shouted in glee and I ran to him giving him a hug. "I'm so glad you are okay!"

"Y/n! I said keep your voice down!" Nel said from behind me. Steven looked at Nel in confusing.

"Who's that? And why is she see-through? Why does she have a gem the same as mine? Wait you are a gem two right? Where did she come from? When did you have that gem? Wait you don't have a gem! I'm so confused! Are we siblings? What—"

"Steven! Right now let's get the gems. Yes I am part gem. Well she is my gem—our gem. Ugh! It's complicated! I'll explain later! Nel come on let get back together!" I explained and Nel did as I said.

Steven looked amazed. "Are you a fusion?" He asked. "No. I don't think so? No, no I'm not. I'll explain later! Now come on!" I grabbed Steven hand and we followed. I was pulled back.

"Can we trust this..person?" I turned and I didn't realize there was another gem with us.

"Oh! I forgot. Y/n! This is ruby! She is looking for someone too! We pasted Lapis but she didn't want are help.." Steven said.

"We are wasting time! We need to fine sapphire! This way!" Ruby said running in a direction. We followed her. But Ruby was going to fast we lost her.

Steven then pulled me. "What is it?—" he covered my mouth. I saw Jasper and Peridot pass. They began discussing what they should do.

As they left Steven and I got out and went up to a cell and saw another gem who was singing.

"Hey! I like your sing!" Steven whispered.

"You escaped..thank you, Steven" sapphire said as she got out as Steven made a way for her to get out.

In the distance Ruby shouted for sapphire.

"Come on!" Sapphire grabbed Steven's hand and Steven grabbed my hand.

Sapphire began running. But she came to a stop as she saw Ruby.

"Ruby!" Sapphire and Ruby came into a hug.

"Are you hurt?" Ruby asked worried. "No,no. I'm okay. Did they hurt you?" Sapphire asked.

"Who cares!"

"I do!" Ruby picked up Sapphire and twirled around. Eventually they began to glow.

I was amazed on what was going on. They fused into Garnet. Garnet began to laugh and crouched down to us. "Steven! Y/n! Thank you."

"You're a fusion!?" I said with glee.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want you meeting us like this." Garnet said.

"Well did we make a good impression?" Steven asked looking at garnet.

"Oh Steven we already love you. The both of you." She said placing her hands on Steven and I's cheeks.

-narrator's POV-
"Where is she!" Jasper shouted.

"It's Jasper. Steven, y/n go find the rest I'll handle her." Garnet instructed.

"But we don't know where they are!" Steven said but garnet gave him a kiss on the head.

"Future vision.." he whispered. "Come Y/n! We got to get to them!" Steven said grabbing Y/n hand.

Y/n and Steven eventually found Pearl and Amethyst. And they all headed to the control panel.

Peridot escaped

After a while, Garnet headed  to the control panel with the rest. The ship was out of control and it was heading straight to the town.

The ship eventually crashed but everyone survived.

As everyone was getting up Jasper came out and pulled lapis. They fused but Lapis pulled Jasper to the bottom of the sea.

"Rough day huh?" Y/n said looking at Steven.

"Oh my! Y/n you're half gem like Steven?!" Pearl said grabbing Y/n's shoulders.

"Oh right!! You put up your shield to protect Steven! When were you a gem!? Were you always a gem!" Amethyst added turning Y/n around.

"Um—I— It's complicated.." y/n said looking at Garnet. "But yes I am gem. Well half gem, and half human." She explained raising her palm to show them. "Your gem is the same as mine!" Steven said looking at the gem.

"So are one of your parents a gem? Like my mom?" Steven asked. Y/n frowned. Garnet patted her head. Y/n looked up at her. "Don't worry. You can tell us when you are ready." Garnet said giving Y/n an assuring smile.
