Ch30. Preparation

" and that's why I came here.." Y/n finished explaining to Blue.

"Oh..You poor thing. You don't have dulling control of these powers do you?" Blue asked picking y/n up and setting her on a cloud.

"Well the shouting..I don't know where that came from! And turning Pink? Why does my mom want me to be the fourth diamond? Can't it be anyone else?" Y/n said.

"Well there was someone. You knew who she was before you lost memory. Pink diamond. She gave her form for Steven."

"Oh right. Steven told me that 2 years ago when I met him—wait how'd I know that?"

"You must be regaining your memories!" Blue cheered the momentum of Blue caused the wind to go towards Y/n making the cloud disappear.

"Woah!" Y/n formed her wings saving her.

"Oh my! Sorry!" Blue brought up her hands making Y/n land on them.

"It's alright, blue. I'm also glad I'm gaining my memories again. Can't believe my mom was the one who did it.." y/n said muttered the last part.

"Well at least you get a chances to get them back. Spinel must be torn by you not know who she was"

Y/n tilted her head in confusion.

"Well she absolutely adored you. You gave her all of the love Pink couldn't. All of the attention she needed. All of the affection she needed. You two we're barely inseparable. It was adorable. I've never seen Spinel so happy. She seems even more happy than with Pink"

"I must have made her feel small say the things I said.. well at least you tell what happened in the past. Everyone's so hesitant to tell me." Y/n pouted.

"It's because they don't want to hurt you. Or give you all of the information at once. You've got to understand them" blue said.

There was a knock on Blue's door.

"Oh no is it my mom looking for me!?" Y/n his under Blue's fingers.

The door opened revealing Yellow.

"Blue have you seen Y/n?"

"Yellow?"

Y/n peaked out of Blue's hand.

"Oh thank goodness. I thought something happened to you, you weren't in your chamber" yellow walked over to Blue.

"Oh. I just came to talk to blue." Y/n said smiling.

"Also someone else was worried" yellow brought up her hand revealing Spinel.

"Hm..? Oh hey spinel..sorry for leaving to room" y/n said pulling Spinel onto Blue's hand.

"I remembered something. How me and Steven met" Y/n said holding Spinel's hand.

"Oh really!? That's great!" Spinel embracing
y/n with a hug.

"Where is Steven? I would like to talk with him" y/n said.

"He is back on earth my dear." Blue said

"With the ball tonight. Amber wants to make it big. Ugh can't believe we actually let her into the palace all those years ago" Yellow groaned.

"Let her in?"

"Yes. We thought she was just a normal gem and—"

"Yellow! We said we'll never speak of it again.." Blue covered her hand with Spinel and Y/n inside.

"Gah! Blue!?"

"Oh! Sorry! How about you head to see Steven. Im sure Amber won't mind. Run along now" Blue pushed Spinel and Y/n out of the room and shut the door.

"Again..? I thought at least she'll tell me something.." y/n said and began walking.

"I'm sure she will soon, doll. Come! We gotta get ready for your ball!" Spinel said happily picking up Y/n.

"Ah! You don't have to carry me!"

"What? Ya flustered? Don't be! I'm just being a gentleman" spinel said smirking.

"Is it a good color?"

"You look amazing my y/n"

All the pebbles gathered around Y/n.

"I think it looks great" y/n said smiling fixing her bow tie.

"Where's spinel?" Y/n asked getting up.

"She is changing as well."

"Ms.Amber allowed her to join"

"It's quite odd"

"It is. But I'm sure everything will be...fine" y/n stood frozen gazing at Spinel with the suit she wore when she confessed to Y/n.

Spinel turned seeing Y/n staring at her.

"Ya look stunning doll..y/n? You okay?" Spinel extended her leg to be in front of Y/n.

"That suit looks familiar.." y/n muttered.

Spinel's eyes widened.

"Really!? That's good!" Spinel cheered twirling y/n around.

"H-hey! Spinsy! Put me down!" Y/n said laughing, spinel stopped hearing Y/n say her nickname.

"Oh. Sorry, sorry! It slipped out!" Y/n said covering her mouth.

"No,no! It's fine! Really!" Spinel said intertwining her hand with Y/n.

"Y/n! The ball will start soon" Volleyball said walking into the room.

"You look amazing!" Volley walked over to y/n fixing her hair.

"Jasper is waiting outside to escort you"

"Okay. Thanks Volley." Y/n said smiling.

"Shall we?" Spinel asked.

"We shall.
