Ch17. Time together.

-Y/n POV-
"It's sad that Steven isn't coming along as well. But we have Y/n and Spinel!" Blue exclaimed happily patting my head with her one finger.

"I guess I don't exist—" Nel whispered to me. I lightly punched her. " don't think that! It's just you're barely visible. Only your gem is" I whispered to her.

"It's been a while since I've been on the ship." I told spinel. As she was leaning on my shoulder.

"Really? When was the last time?" Spinel asked.

"We'll—" before I could finish the sentence, flashbacks flooded back. When Steven got his gem removed. And White was still evil.

I looked and saw Blue and Yellow sharing glances. So was White.

"It was when we came back to home-world. It was almost a year ago." I answered nervously.

"We finally arrived!" White exclaimed.

"It's been a while since I've been here!" Spinel said.

"Hey. How are your powers?" Nel asked placing an arm on my shoulder.

"They're alright. They will come back eventually." I said and walked up next to spinel.

-narrator's POV-

Everyone was now on Home-World.

"Y/n. If you don't mind. We'd like to have a talk with spinel for a bit." White asked looking down at y/n.

"If you don't mind" Blue asked kneeling down to me lending her hand to Y/n.

"I don't mind. You mind if I head to..Pink's room?" Y/n asked hesitantly placing her small hand on Blue's.

"Oh, alright! Here. I'll drop you off over there" Blue suggested scooping Y/n up. And leading her other hand to Nel.

Blue placed Y/n in her hair near her gem. And Nel was on her shoulder.

"I will be back." Blue said. Just as Blue was going to leave spinel stopped her.

"What is it spinel?" Blue asked.

Spinel then sprung herself up into Blue's front her near her gem.

"Woah. Hello!" Y/n said surprised. Spinel then embraced Y/n with a tight hug.

"I'll see you soon, Toots!" Spinel said with a bright smile.

Spinel was hesitant but then pecked a quick kiss on Y/n forehead.

Y/n blushed by the action. "Bye!" Spinel then left.

"Alright. Here we are! Spinel will be back. We won't take long." Blue said with a soft smile settling Y/n down.

"Okay. I'll be here" y/n said.

"Spinel really likes you—No let me rephrase that. Loves you" Nel teased.

Y/n got flustered by the comment. " Well that's what friends do. Well best friends. I think she considers me as her best friend. Hopefully. I really like her. Even though she tried to kill us..but that's why she was anger with pink. I understand that. I just want to give her the love she didn't get—Not that kind of love! You know what I mean Nel!" Y/n explained punching Nel's arm.
