As y/n saw Spinel throw Steven up in the sky, Spinel turned to her.
"I really thought you were different. I really did. But at least you aren't as worse as Steven. He'll pay for that." Spinel then smirked mischievous and sprung her self up.
"No!..spinel!" Y/n looked up.
"Ugh fuck it. I can't let spinel kill him.." y/n then again began forming her wings and flew up to them.
Her eyes widened as she saw Spinel enlarges her hands.
"Steven!" Y/n formed her wings to be a shield so the hit won't be as bad.
"Y/n! No! Your powers!" Steven shouted hugging y/n in mid-air.
The impact them came and they were sent right in the injector's top.
Y/n then groaned and her wings broke into pieces.
As Spinel descends from the sky, she sees Steven unharmed from the blow, bearing his shield inside a crater from the impact.
"All that stuff's easy for you to say! When you change, you change for the better. When I change, I CHANGE FOR THE WORSE!!!"
Spinel lunges at Steven, who easily defends her blows with his shield in front of him and Y/n.
"I used to be just not good enough! Just! Not! Good enough for Pink! But NOW- NOW... I'M NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!!!!"
Growing her fists to a ridiculous size, Spinel slams them down on Steven's shield, further cracking the Injector's surface. Spinel then starts laughing frantically, as she collapses to her knees and breaks down.
"That's funny, r-right? A-At least you found me entertaining. You actually... liked me, didn't you? What am I doing? Why do I wanna hurt you so bad? I'm supposed to be a friend. I just wanna be a friend."
"Steven lower the shield" y/n muttered.
Steven, in a show of sympathy, slowly dispels his shield, letting down his defenses to talk with a startled Spinel.
"Spinel..I-..Ow!" As y/n was going to hug Spinel she held her side.
"Oh my stars! Y/n! I'm sorry! I-"
Before Spinel could finish, the Injector begins to explode from the damage it had sustained. Only capable of looking at each other, Steven holds Y/n, and y/n grips Spinel's hand.
Steven, y/n and Spinel descend, surviving the explosion inside Steven's bubble. Steven floats down into the crater from the explosion, sets Y/n down on a rock, and looks around at his surroundings.
"Woah." Y/n looked around.
Spinel on her knees next to Steven. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no. What did I do? I've wrecked everything!" Spinel shouted and guilt.
"Well, that's one way to get rid of your Injector." Steven commented.
"But what about the poison? What about the planet? What about your "happily ever after"?" Spinel asked glancing to Steven and Y/n.
