Sitting in my bedroom, I write at my desk for the story based off the Leshii and Rusalki characters.

"Why can't you go to sleep like a normal human?" Leshii moans. "That scratching is so annoying."

"I'm not a human," I remind, thinking about Pyro's words of encouragement.

"You're not a Vampire."

"That's true too."

"So you're nocturnal, and can hurt us, but you don't have fangs?" Leshii asks.

"Yeah, and I can hide in shadows pretty well." I smile, writing about some crazy fangirls of the Leshii-based character.

"What are you writing?" He appears by my side, taking the paper without an answer. Shuffling the papers a bit, he falls silent. Blushing furiously, I stare at the floor and wish I could just disappear into an actual shadow like Leshii.

"The plot is good so far. Just make sure the ending doesn't fall short. That's where a lot of unprofessional writers go wrong. The characters are amazing too. Very in depth in their creation," he comments finally.

"Thanks," I murmur, reaching up to take the papers.

"But what seems a bit weird to me, is the fact that these characters are based on the Vampires you've met here."

"They are not!"

"I like how you made Rusalki. She actually is written as a nice person who tends to be cruel at times. Very different from her soulless yet loyal personality. I wish I knew her better so I could say this character really does represent her, but she's just a cousin I had custody over."

"They're not based on you guys!"

"You had some trouble in the beginning accurately expressing our character though. You made it seem like I'm more evil than her. That was cleaned up quickly though, showing your early opinions of us."

"If you want to think of it that way, then go ahead. I'm going to sleep," I mutter, getting up and plopping down on my bed. Leshii lets out an almost inaudible sigh of relief. "You actually didn't know all those things..did you..?" I mumble.

"Just fishing for peace. Go to sleep. I'll be back in a bit to keep you company."

"I don't need company."

"Yeah but it's quietest here. Night; don't die within the next five minutes!" He calls over his shoulder.

"I'll try my best to!" The door clicks shut, sending me into almost complete darkness.

Leshii is actually really nice. A lot more hospitable than Pheonix and Gale. Mackay and Brennen are barely around anymore too, caught up with the war and keeping it hidden. They do so much...I wish I could help out. And what's up with the Shadows? I thought they were supposed to be these heartless murderers. Well, they are only friendly to me. That's probably because I'm sort of one of them. Okay brain, shut up now. I want to go to sleep.

Despite my desperate struggles to fall asleep, my mind just won't shut up, "I need my blanket from hom- my old home. Too bad I don't have any time to go back there. Everyone would probably kill me anyway."

Uncomfortably cold and my mind still working a mile a minute, I fell into a restless sleep.

"Pheonix!" Me.

"Go play with your husband." Pheonix.

"I don't like her! She's nothing to me!" Gale.

"Gale..." Me.

"You were expecting me to actually love you? I've known you for a month. Like you said, I don't care about someone I barely know." Gale.
