"Are you sure you don't want to just stay here?" Nayeon asked, "We still have a spare room."

"I'm good." Mina smiled. "Besides, mom asked me to look for some files she left there."

Nayeon just nodded in defeat. She knows she can't change Mina's mind to stay in their old house.

"Nayeon, I swear I'll be okay." Mina reassured, seeing her friend's worried face. "I'll let you know if something comes up, okay? And it's not like we live too far from each other."

"You'd still be five blocks away." Nayeon pouted. "Update me, okay?"

"Yes, ma'am." Mina smiled.

Sana walked beside Nayeon and asked, "Would you be here for breakfast, Mitang?"

"Seriously, when did you guys get so clingy?" Mina can't help but to let out a small laugh. Even though deep inside, she knows her friends are really just worried about her, most especially after knowing what happened to Chaeyoung. "I can't. But maybe dinner?"

"Or we can have lunch at your house." Tzuyu suggested. "We don't have any plans tomorrow, right hon?"

"Yeah we don't." Sana giggled. "And we can watch movies too!"

"How about let's let Mina take a rest, hmm?" Jeongyeon said, messing Sana's hair.

"No, actually that's good." Mina responded. "We can watch movies tomorrow."

"Sounds like a good plan then." Jihyo smiled.

"As long as there's food, it would be." Momo added.

"It's always food when it come to you." Nayeon said, rolling her eyes. "Seriously, get your stomach checked."

Dahyun looked at the her two friends. "How about you two? Would you be able to come tomorrow?"

"Oh, nope." Nayeon answered, holding Jeongyeon's hand. "We have food tasting tomorrow."

"But it's okay, you guys can go without us." Jeongyeon added, she then walked towards Mina, wrapping her arm around the latter's shoulder. "Now, let this woman go and take a rest."

"I'll head now." Mina bowed, "I'll see you guys tomorrow."

After bidding their good byes to Mina, Jeongyeon drove the latter to her old house where she would stay for the meantime she's in Korea. She didn't lie though. It's true her mother asked her to find some files she left but Mina decided to do that some other time. She have a lot of time anyways.

Mina examined their old house. The furnitures, basically everything are covered in white cloth. She opened the blinds on their living room that gives complete view of their small garden, the small silver gate and the alley.

Mina's wrong when she thought she'll be dead tired when she got home. It's ironic she have a lot of energy right now that she was able to clean the entire house. The only place that remains untouched is her old room.

She twisted the knob and her muscle memory promptly turned on the switch near the door. Mina felt a pang on her heart seeing how nothing has changed. Unlike the rest of their house, her room wasn't covered in white cloth. The furnitures are still where they are and almost all of her old stuff are still in place.

When Mina went back to Japan, she left almost all of her things in Korea. Not wanting to carry a reminder of the pain. And now, seeing her old room the way it was when she left, feels like reopening a wound that has been healed.

She let out a long sigh before cleaning the room. Changing the bedsheets, comforter, pillow case, and wiping dust everywhere.
When Mina's done, she grabbed her luggage and transfered her clothes on her drawer until she saw a small white envelope in the last compartment.
