Sana

The morning breeze brushes through my skin as the body laying next to mine scoots closer.

"Morning" she sheepishly greeted, without opening her eyes.

I giggled seeing how cute she is. "Morning, love." I smiled, kissing her forehead. "I'll make you coffee."

Tzuyu hummed just when I slowly got up. Nayeon's house got busier with each day that pass because of the upcoming wedding.

Sometimes I think that we're burdening them by staying here and they just don't want us to feel that. But they're the one who insisted to stay here instead of us booking hotel rooms.

"You're up early." I greeted Momo who's half asleep, sipping her coffee on the counter. "That's so not you."

"I know." She groaned, "But Dahyun wake me up. She's really excited to see Chaeyoung."

"Aren't we all?" I smiled. "I can't remember the last time I saw her."

"Me too. How's Mina?" she asked, her tone is serious. Something she rarely use. "You know, with Chaeng staying with her."

"She said she's okay." I said, pouring myself a cup of coffee.

"Do you believe her?" Momo asked, raising her brow.

Funny because I do. I believe her. I believe her when she said she doesn't feel angry or hurt, because I know she never did. Anger towards Chaeyoung wasn't even in Mina's in the first place.

"She sounds as if she is, so I guess yeah." I replied before putting two cups of coffee on a silver tray. "We can confirm it later."

I saw Momo nod in response before leaving the counter to walk back to Tzuyu.

I believe that Mina feels okay seeing Chaeyoung again. I just hope Mina would take care of her heart this time.

I really didn't get a good sleep. My mind just can't shake what she told me yesterday about Chaeyoung being strange. I'm afraid to know why. I can't tell Mina what I think about it last night, not over the phone. Not when I haven't seen Chaeyoung myself. I can't conclude what's going on with her without actually being with her.

Not that I don't trust Mina. Every description of 'strange' she said last night were already flags on the air. But, I need to see it myself. Because we can be wrong.

I hope I'm wrong.

Please let me be wrong.

Dahyun

This is going to be a great day. I can feel it. I really can't wait to see my bro once again. I don't think I even slept last night because of the excitement I'm feeling.

Flashback

"Chaengie!" I called, waving my hand so that she could see me on this crowded diner. "Here!"

"Hey." Chaeyoung smiled, catching her breath. "Sorry I'm late. Did you wait too long?"

"No." I lied, shaking my head as I hand her the menu. "What's your order?"

Yeah. I lied. We barely see each other after graduating in high school. I don't want her to feel bad about being late. And by barely I mean atleast twice a year. She only meet with me and Jeongyeon. We never ask her why. We're just thankful she still go out with us two even if it's like once in a blue moon. We have a guess as to why tho.

After her break up with Mina, she started avoiding us. We don't know if it's because she feel embarrassed or maybe she thought they're mad at her. After what she did to Mina, I admit that's something we didn't like, but that doesn't mean we're mad at her. Whatever her reason is, that's her decision and we can't really force her anymore.

"Hmmm.." She looked at the menu as if she's thinking, and if I didn't focused my attention to her, I wouldn't see how she sneakily check the pocket of her pants under the table.

"My treat!" I interrupted, "I just graduated in college after all. Just treat me back when you graduate next year, architect."

"Right." She smiled weakly, she then reach something out of her sling bag. "Here."

It took me a while to process what's in front of me.

"Aww. Chaeng.. Thank you." I can't help but cry as I hold the bracelet I'm sure she made for me.

"Look!" she said holding up her wrist. "I have one too."

Oh my. This girl. I examined the bracelet and it looks the same as mine. Both made of colorful beads, with some flowers. The only difference is mine have D and Y and hers have C and Y. As I look at the bracelet amazed, my eyes suddenly caught something just beneath her wrist.

"Yah! Chaeyoung-ah! What happened here?" I asked holding her wrist where I saw the bruised skin.

Instead of answering right away, she gave me a laugh. What's funny?

"I slipped that's all." she smiled.

"What's funny then?"

"Because you almost sound like Jeong awhile back." she chuckled. "You sounded like a mom."

Did I? Aish! I don't want to sound like a mom! I'm cool!

I just stared at her as she make fun of me. I enjoyed seeing her laugh like a little kid. I'm gonna miss her.

"Let's meet again on Christmas, okay?" I said.

She looked at me for a second, then look away while rubbing her eyes. "Only if you'll treat me ice cream."

"I promise, Chaengie." I responded, wiping the tears that escaped her eyes. "You're my bro, duh. You're the only one I'd choose to eat a whole ice cream factory with."

"Bro." She smiled, with her fist waiting on air to be bumped by mine.

"Bro." I giggled bumping her fist. "Always."

End of Flashback

"Good morning." Sana greeted, holding up a silver tray with two cups of coffee on it.

"Good morning to you too, Sana." I said, returning her bright smile before opening the door of their room for her. "Tzuyu is still sleeping?"

"Yeah." She laughed, looking at her girlfriend laying on the bed. "Seems like it."

"Yah! Tzuyu-ah! Wake up now!" I shouted, making the tall girl roll over the bed. "Chaeyoung is already waiting!"

Wait for us, bro.
