Chapter 45:- Isn't it my first?🖤

Sana:Home sweet home

Shehnaaz yelled after entering her home but she didn't felt that warmth she had felt living with Sidharth and Sidhansh. She lived in his home the whole weekend and today returned her home or should I say house.

Was it really my home?

Home is not just a place where you live ,home is a place where the people who love  live.

She didn't understood this quote ever  but today she could feel the true meaning of the quote.

Shehnaaz sighed and threw her bag on the couch.She slumped on the couch and opened the calendar on her phone.She marked 22nd as final rehearsal day.Two days before the launch day.

Sidharth had talked with Jenny and decided to see her final rehearsal on that day.Shehnaaz kept looking at the screen and felt a wave of nervousness hit her.It was her first time as a model and first time she would walk on a ramp.

Sana:you can do this Shehnaaz, relax and stay calm

She stood up from the couch and went to the kitchen to prepare some coffee for herself. By the time she reached the kitchen,her head had started hurting .

Ofcourse it would hurt,you  haven't taken the pills from two days.

She kept the milk on the stove to boil and quickly took out two pills from the bottle and gulped it down.She could feel her throat burning but after sometime she felt relaxed.Her headache stopped.

Sana:finally....ooh shit,how could I forgot that

She quickly took her coffee mug and picked her phone from the couch.She sat in her balcony and dialed a number while drinking her coffee.

Sana:hi dad

Sana dad:hi Shehnaaz

She could feel the tiredness and hoarseness in her dad's voice though she hadn't talked to him much since she shifted.Her dad didn't changed a bit,she thought and chuckled.

Sana:how are you dad?

Sana dad:I am good ,how are you?

Sana:I am happy,very happy

Sana dad:happy much,aren't we?.....so what's the good news?

Sana:I got an opportunity to become a model for Dreams new collection....and the launch is on 24th....so I want you and mumma to come here on 24th

Sana dad:wow ,that's great bacha,congratulations....Dreams is really a big company, I have heard about it....but 24th of this month?

Sana:yeah dad

Shehnaaz crossed her fingers and hoped to get an positive reply.Because was she ready to get a negative response, yes or no?Maybe no

Please dad don't say no ,please.

Her mind kept chanting those words and desperately wanting to hear a yes.But the next words of her dad were enough to break her heart.

Sana dad:I will come but I can be a bit late....because Ajay is also having an important meeting with our international financiers on that day

Sana:ohh okay....so you won't come?

Shehnaaz wanted to scream and show how  angry she was but her voice came out as a whisper,  a sad whisper.

Sana dad:After Ajay's meeting finishes ,I will try to come bacha....but I don't know when the meeting will finish,you know it's his first time meeting with international financiers....so I can't leave him
