Chapter 60:- Phone call and Gifts 🧡

He left from there and entered his room.Locking his door,he slumped on the bed and ran his hand through his hairs.His mind was still clouded with so many thoughts. He didn't knew what to do ,what to think ,he was blank with only one thing ringing in his mind.

It's all my fault.......I wish I wouldn't have sent her there

He hastily picked his phone and searched his phonelist for a particular number.He clicked on the number and put it close to his ears.His voice was still shaky while his eyes were red and puffy due to crying .The phone was picked up in the second ring.

Lady:hello

Sid:mom

Uttering just one word,he broke down into tears again and fisted his hairs tightly. Smitha got tensed hearing his crying voice and immediately spoke.

Smitha:Sidharth, beta why are you crying?

Sid:I failed as a father,I failed in protecting her

Smitha:her(whisper)........Samaira is there?

Smitha immediately knew who he was talking about and her voice also shivered.It was 9 years she hadn't met her granddaughter, how much she missed him.That day also she tried to stop Sidharth and Ruhi from taking this harsh decision but nothing stopped them.

Sidharth calmed a bit and smiled at how his mother instantly understood who he was talking about.But he also felt guilty seeing how his mother understood him without his telling her but he never understood Samaira .

Sid:yes and I failed as a parent mom,I never understood her and with your protesting so much still I sent her hostel........I am sorry,mom

Smitha:don't apologize to me Sidharth, apologize to the right person and I know you did wrong but it's not too late you can still mend your relationship with her

Sid:it's too late mom(shivered voice)

Smitha:you are hiding something from me ,tell me the whole thing Sidharth, now

Sidharth narrated the whole incident which he heard from Shehnaaz's and Samaira's conversation. After he completed ,he heard a small sob from the other side.

Sidharth you shouldn't have told her......her health is already not stable

Soon,guilt started eating him up and before he could say anything his mother said.

Smitha:she suffered a lot ,Sidharth.....this is only a part which you heard maybe there's more and you have to be strong enough to hear it......and for her

Sid:mom my heart hurts thinking just about that accident, I hope there's not anymore such incidents

Only if he knew that his hope was wrong..........

Smitha:hmm,I also hope so........I am coming back to your place,I can't wait anymore to meet my granddaughter

Sid:no mom,not now......she needs time and you also need rest

Smitha:but Sidharth-

Sid:no mom I won't listen anything and she will here only........you will come after doctor's final reports and then you can spend time as much as you want

Smitha:she will now stay with you ?

Smitha knew Sidharth won't let her go this time but still she had an insecurity in her mind that her angel will leave her again.

Sid:she is not going anywhere mom,I won't let her go this time.......I promise

Smitha smiled hearing him.Now she was fully sure that her granddaughter will be with them forever and nothing can separate her from them.
