After I had got back last night, I headed to my bedroom. Walking in I realized I didn't have a bed. Ugh. Why life. I had no idea what to do, but ask my neighbors. Oh yes, the neighbors that Noah practically forbid me from talking to.

After finally getting the courage to go and just at least knock on their door, I realized I had 'been shopping for 7 hours hair'. I went to the bathroom quickly to fix it, running a brush through my hair was the best I could do. Seeing as all of my stuff was still packed in many bags.

I opened up my door and entered the hallway. This was it. Oh god no, I hope Dan doesn't answer. Why was I even nervous? It's not like I like him. Wait do I? Whatever, I'm just asking him if he has a blowup bed.

I knocked on the door. I herd faint whispers and footsteps. "Coming!" One screamed.

The door opened and it was Phil. Thank god.

"Hi." I said.

"Um... Hi" he said.

Great Caitlin great, you already made it awkward.

"Sorry to bother you, bu--" I was interrupted by a blonde girl in sweatpants and an American Eagle top.

"Phil who is it?" She said, her voice sounded familiar, I didn't know where from.

"Um out new neighbor. What was you name? Sorry I forgot it." Phil said.

"Caitlin." I said, shooting him a smile, I still couldn't see the girl with the familiar voice's face.

"Caitlin. This is my girlfriend Cali. Cali this is Caitlin."

The blonde girl, Cali came running down the stairs.

"Caitlin!" She said.

"Oh my god! Cali!" I said.

I ran up to her and gave her a long needed hug.

Me and Cali had been friends since middle-school. Ever since we joined chorus together, we hung out all the time. I mean we were even in a chicken nugget vodka cult. Hey, I see you judging. Ya you. Stop it. Lol

Anyways, we were always good friends. Until we both went to college, she moved to the UK to study at Oxford. I had totally forgotten. We tried to keep up our friendship, but it was hard seeing as I was studying at Boston Unviversity. She had studied art, she was always quite good at it. I studied medical of course, it wasn't really my choice.

My mom was a nurse, and she practically insisted that I study medical. Once I had my, well you know 'existential crisis' she made Noah study it too. Noah actually seemed to enjoy it though. My other sibling Abby chose a completely different path though. She became a hair stylist. She had always been good at hair, but I never expected her to actually do it for a living.

She was the youngest of my family, 19 to be exact, but she already had her future basically set up. She looked nothing like me or Noah. Seeing as she had blonde hair and glasses. Abby knew how to pick the right man also, to which I was very jealous.

I had only had two boyfriends. One when I was in highschool, he was on the basketball team, like me. We had a great relationship, and I thought everything was great, until I caught him in the locker room with the school slut, Fiona. I hated her, with a passion. And well, Brian. Judging by my scares and bruises, that wasn't the best relationship.

Abby on the other hand though, had already been engaged to her high-school sweetheart, Ryan. Ryan was truly a nice guy, and I liked him, and it seemed the rest of my family did to.
But anyways......

"I can't believe it's really you!" I said practically screaming at the top of my lungs.

Phil looked at us confused.

"I grew up with Cali, we were friends." I said.

"Oh ok" Phil laughed.

I saw Cali look down at her phone.

"Hey I'd love to stay and catchup but I have a class tomorrow. Maybe another time?" She said.

"Oh Ya sure." I said.

I watched Cali walk back into thee apartment.

"So what did you need?" Phil asked.

"Oh ya." I said laughing. "I actually don't have a bed so I was wondering if you had like an air mattress or something I could borrow."

"Oh ya sure absolutely. Let me go get it." Phil said running back into the apartment.

He returned in a few minutes with a heavy box he seemed to be struggling to carry.

Phil gasped for air. "Argh. Here you go." He said as he put the box down.

"Thanks!" I said picking up the box.

"Do you need help with that?" He asked.

I was having no trouble at all picking up the box. It was actually kind of funny.

"Oh no I'm good" I said.

"Ok." I turned around to see Phil in shock as he closed his apartment door.

I walked into my apartment and placed the heavy box on the floor. Once again I looked at me completely empty apartment and sighed.

It took a good 30 minutes to blow up the mattress. And once it finally was, the time had reached 12 pm, midnight. I was exhausted, so I didn't even bother to get blankets. I just plopped down on the mattress and fell asleep almost instantly.

I woke up in the Morning, my back hurting from sleeping on the air mattress. I has scoliosis too, which didn't help either. Looking at my bags from the mall, that I had gotten the day before with Noah, I decided I would take a run.

I grabbed my new running shorts and shoes, and a plain old purple tank top. I grabbed my running sweatshirt as well. And headed to the bathroom. I got changed and put my hair up in a ponytail.

Walking down the hall, I decided I would ask Noah if he would like to join. It would be just like old times, when we would run together almost every morning.

I knocked on his door and waited. I could hear a girl voice and giggles. I instantly was suspicious.

Noah opened the door moments later.

"Hey. What's up." He said.

He looked as though he hadn't gotten any sleep last night. And was way to enthusiastic for 8 in the morning. Also, he had his hand leaning up against the door frame, not allowing me to see into his apartment.

"Hi...." I said trying to get past him.

He instantly pushed me back.

I looked up at him. "Noah. I don't care if there is a girl here." I said.

"Ok ok." He said allowing me to enter.

I saw the blonde girl who I had seen talking to my brother earlier at the mall. I gave him my 'really' face. He looked nervous.

"Noah I don't care." I said.

He didn't reply he just sat on his coach shaking his head. I mean i get my brother was attractive I just expected it, but I just didn't understand what he was upset about.
