Dans POV

I woke up to see to see Phil sitting next to me. I turned my head slowly to the side, facing Phil. I was unbelievably drowsy. What the hell did they inject me with? And why? I don't remember exactly what happened, just that I was screaming about something.

"What was I screaming about Phil?" I asked.

He gave me a sympathetic look, and then shook his head. He didn't want to tell me. Why didn't he want to tell me? What was I so desperately and painfully yelling for?

"Her, Dan. You were screaming about Caitlin." He said, laying a hand on my shoulder.

"Caitlin?! What happened to her."

"She went into shock."

"WHAT I NEED TO SEE HER WHERE IS SHE?!" I screamed.

I stood up, getting out of my bed, still connected to the wires, the wires that we're giving my body life, and I ran out of my hospital room. I didn't even know where I was going, i just needed to find her, be with her, explain that I kissed her because I liked her. I liked her a lot.

I heard Phil screaming my name, telling me to stop, but I kept running. I kept running to wherever my feet would take me. I ran up to the front desk, the lady looked at me concerned.

"What room is Caitlin in?"

"Caitlin who?"

I didn't even know her last name, that's how perfect she was. She could make you fall for her without even knowing anything about her. Her personality was just enough, just enough to make you love her, make you long for her. It was crazy how much in love I was with her. What is this girl doing to me?

"I don't know.....she's 23, gorgeous, brown hair." I said.

"Sir, I can't give you this-"

I walked away from her, when I saw Noah walking down the hall. I ran up to him, startling him.

"Noah! What room is Caitlin in."

"Um.... 254" he said.

"Thank you." I said as I ran down the hallways looking at all of the room numbers, watching for 254.

Than I reached it, her room. I barged in through the door. I saw her lying there, her eyes looking up at me.

"Dan...Dan why-"

I stopped her, placing a hand on her lips.

"Because I like you, I like you a lot." I said.

I pushed her lose strain of hair behind her ear, and kissed her. I had the same feeling, the feeling of butterflies, of fireworks, of something that could be the beginning of a new chapter of my life, a chapter I have always wanted to write, a chapter where I was truly happy.

I pulled away from her lips, still lingering her embrace.

"Don't leave me this time." I said, my hand on her cheek.

She placed her hand on top of mine. And kissed me once again.

"You know Dan, I'm amazed when I look at you, not just because of your looks, but because of the fact that everything I've wanted, everything I've ever wanted is standing right in front of me. Dan everything I've ever wanted is you." She said softly.
