Bridget led me into one of the bathrooms where she gave me a towel.
"You can use Joes shower. I'll get you some clothes, just come into his room when your done." She said.
"Thank you." I replied.
She smiled and nodded, closing the door behind her.
As I got out of my wet and sticky clothes I could hear voices talking outside of the bathroom door.
"Dude she's hot."
I could tell by the voice that it was Caspar. The other one had to be no other than Joe.
"Caspar you will not sleep with the guest." Joe said.
"But dude have u looked at her." Caspar said.
"Yes I have Caspar."
"And.... Don't deny it."
"I'm not ok. She is cute but that doesn't mean you get to sleep with her."
Caspar sighed.
"Your not my dad, ugly ass fucking do-do head."
I laughed, loud. I couldn't contain myself. Leave it to Caspar to take a clip out of a vine and yell it at Joe. I knew they must have heard as they became silent. I heard a knock on the door.
"I'm not dressed!" I said.
There was a slight pause, and I heard Joe laugh.
"Um I just wanted to let you know that I was just kidding none of those things I said were true." Caspar said through the door.
"Sure...." Joe said sarcastically.
I shook my head and entered the shower. Guys are generally stupid.
When I finished taking my shower, I grab the towel and wrapped myself in it heading through the door to Joes room. I opened the door and standing there was Joe.
"Oh um sorry. Bridget told me to come in here when I was done with my shower." I said.
He was staring at me. I was kind of creeped out.
"Um hello? Joe?" I asked, making Joe jump almost like he had just snapped out of a trance.
"Oh ya...um....um....I'll got get her." He said as he spun around and quickly ran out the door.
Well that was um weird.
Moments later Bridget came into the room.
"Hey, sorry girl I was making dinner."
"Oh that's ok."
"Now here"
She handed me the loveliest outfit. It was blue jeans with a pink, floral jumper. It would match perfectly with my white vans.
"Aww thanks omg I love it." I said.
"Keep it, I hate pink anyways." She said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Ya...Joe bought it for me, I've never worn it. As I said not much of a pink person."
I smiled.
"Thank you so much."
Bridget smiled back, and I grabbed the brush and ponytail holders that were lying on joes bed. I put my wet hair into a messy bun, letting a few strains of hair fall In front of my face. I asked Bridget where I could put my wet clothes and she told me to put it in the basket in the bathroom. I got up from the bed and proceed to do so, and then I saw it. A razor. Dan.
I collapsed on the floor after seeing it, memories of Dan in that yogurt shop bathroom flew through my mind. Images of me leaving Dan alone in that hospital. Images of us kissing. And images of him crying. I began to hyperventilate, my breathes small, and fast.
I heard footsteps running towards me as someone placed a pillow under my head. I saw Joe above my face, his lips moving as though he was saying something, but I couldn't hear him. I couldn't hear anyone. I began to drift off, my eyes closing. When Bridget grabbed my face and opened up my eyes, she began screaming something. But I don't know what. All I knew was that I left Dan, I left him there to die. He didn't deserve to die, I did. I closed my eyes.
