Fro-y0-yo, the most cheesiest name for a frozen yogurt shop I have ever herd. I though the ones in Massachusetts were bad. Ek. It even had an absolutely terrible color scheme, lime green, dark green, and red. Like who designed this place? Like someone needs to punch them in the face. They better have good yogurt for the eyesore they are putting me through.
I knew Noah was thinking the same thing when he looked at me raised his eyebrow and smiled, laughing. We walked into the shop and stood in line. There was only one person in front of us, an elderly man in a wheelchair. He seemed to look confused as the guy behind the counter told him how much he owed.
"Do you need help sir?" I asked the man.
He looked up at me, his eyes showed fear.
"It's ok, we just want to help you, sir." Noah said helping me out.
"My grandson told me to wait outside while he went to the bathroom, but it was cold." He replied.
Me and Noah both chuckled at that. The man looked up and smiled to.
"Well, how long has he been gone?" I asked.
"20 minutes." The man replied.
All three of us, me, Noah and the guy who worked here looked at each other in concern.
"I'll have my brother go check on him, ok?" I asked.
The man nodded.
"Your a sweet girl." He said.
I blushed.
"Thank you."
NOAH POV
I walked over to the bathrooms. I was concerned, why had this guys grandson been in the bathroom so long. Nothing good could come from this. I heard crying and quickly pushed open the door, once I did the crying stopped.
"Hello?" I said.
I heard someone wiping their nose, and then flushing the toilet. The man walked out of the stall. I think he was hoping I hadn't heard him crying. He stepped fully out of the stall, tripping on his feet, his eyes red. Probably from crying. I knew his face, it was Dan.
"Dan?!?" I asked.
He looked over at me and immediately pulled his sleeve down. I walked closer to him and looked into the stall he was in, to see blood, lots of it and one single razor. I looked up at him, I wasn't good with this kind of stuff, but my sister was. She had her own personal experience.
"Oh my god! Are you ok?" I asked.
Dan didn't respond, he just looked at me. The look he gave me, a look like he had just had the life sucked out of him was depressing, real depressing. He tried to walk again, this time tripping and falling. He was not ok. I had to get my sister.
"Dan I'll be right back. Don't move!" I said.
I ran out of the bathroom. Into the front of the shop, to see Caitlin laughing with the old man we had met earlier.
"CAITLIN." I screamed startling all of them.
She looked at me, pure shock on her face.
"I need your help in the bathroom."
She nodded and walked back with me.
"Don't let anyone in there ok?" I said to the guy behind the counter.
I nodded and we continued into the bathroom holding each other's hands.
CAITLIN POV
Judging by Noah squeezing my hand tightly, whatever I was about to see in the bathroom was not good. He pushed open the door revealing a body
lying on the floor, pools of blood surrounding him.
"Oh my god are you ok, sir?" I asked.
I crouched down next to the man, to see that it was Dan. Dan? What had happened to him? Why, was he like this, he seemed like the happiest guy? No it couldn't be him, but it was. I began to panic.
"DAN!? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?" I asked.
Noah looked at me and pointed to his wrist. I immediately looked at Dan's wrist. Yep, just as I suspected covered in blood.
"Noah! Come on your in medical school! Give me your shirt so I can wrap it around his wrists." I said.
Noah without any word took off his hoodie and shirt, showing his bare chest. He handed me the shirt and I immediately wrapped it around Dan's wrist. I needed to keep pressure on it, so I held his arm. He looked at me like a lost child. I felt my heart beginning to break, this was so sad. I began to get up, when Dan grabbed my arm.
"Don't leave me." He said, his voice soft.
I began to cry.
"I promise, I won't."
I stood up, allowing him to put his hand on my shoulder. He pushed up, so he was standing on his feet. I lead him over to the wall, he began to trip again. I could tell he was lethargic. I lead him to the wall, and allowed him to slowly fall down to the ground. I sat down next to him. He leaned over, resting his head on my shoulders.
"I'm going to go call an ambulance." Noah said.
I nodded.
He was pale, like way more pale than he usually is. I saw him sitting next to me crying, I began to cry again.
"Caitlin....thank you."
Crying, I said. "I need you."
He cried harder and put his hand on my thigh. I put my hand over his. I needed him, he couldn't leave me, not now, not ever.
