Chapter 18: Remingtons' POV

When I came to I could hear Seri whimpering but my eyes were covered.

"Serenity... Little sis, can you hear me?" I whisper trying to judge where she is.

"Yeah Rem, I'm here" she whispers back telling me she was right beside me.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" I ask her being sure to keep my voice down.

"Yeah, you?" she asked sniffling.

"I'm fine. Okay, that's a lie. I'm physically fine but my bond with King is hurting. I think we're too far apart and it's trying to draw us back together" I explained.

"I'm sorry but we know he'll find us" she said as Luci managed to break into my mind.

"Rem... Rem can you hear me?" he asked.

"Yeah, how's King and our parents?" I asked entirely worried.

"They're fine. Well, as fine as they can be when they know you're missing. King is actually slightly injured but he's more worried about you. He's currently talking to Noah and Luna Peyton to see what he can find out" he said sounding strained.

"Are you okay Luci?" I asked

"This is putting a strain on both your magic and mine. But I know this is important" he paused and then added "Noah and the girls are fine. Luna Peyton says assuming it's Aaron and Carter then you're somewhere South East of the pack house in a old bunker. I think King needs to hear from you though. So, you'll have less than two minutes before my magic can't sustain the link anymore until we're closer."

"Alright" I said then paused before he said "go ahead."

"This connection won't last long since it's putting a strain on both our magic and Luci. But bunny, I need you to know that I love you and I trust you. Do whatever you have to do but please just try not to get hurt" I told him quickly.

"I'll try and I love you too sweetheart" he said as the connection broke leaving us alone with our captures. Taking a deep breath, I said "Seri, Kingston is on the way. Assuming they have accurate information, they'll be here sometime soon. Try to stay calm okay?"

"I'll try Rem but I'm scared. I trust King, I'm just really scared" she whimpered.

"I know sweetie. I know we both hate having to wait but we'll be okay. I trust King to be able to find us and I know he's going to be pissed when he finally does" I said wanting to laugh but not having the energy since as Luci said it put a strain on both our magics.

"Are you okay big brother?" she whispered as we heard someone coming down the stairs.

"Kind of, just a little tired" I whispered back.

"Hmm sounds like two little bloodsuckers are awake" a familiar voice chimed dripping with disgust.

"Sounds like a little wolf boy needs to get his daddys' dick out of his mouth" I sneered.

"Watch your mouth boy! You may be vampire royalty but I promise you no one is even looking for you" Alpha Carter sneered back.

"And that dear idiots is where you're wrong" I snickered.

"Oh, do you mean little Kingston?" Aaron laughed.

"Yes, I mean Kingston but not just him" I smiled evilly.

"Would you care to explain that boy?" the Alpha sneered.

"Not particularly and I am under no obligation to tell you anything. Specially since kidnapping is a crime no matter the race or supernatural status" I shrugged as I felt one of them backhand me.
