I've split the party into two chapters, here is the first one.

Chapter 19

Clarke POV

Lexa left a few hours ago and ever since I've been contemplating why Lexa had been so kind and caring. I believed she cared about me but there was that donut in the back of my head that she was still playing some sort of game, trying to get close to me. I'm quickly broken from my thoughts when my phone buzzes, I secretly hold that it was from Lexa. Although I don't know how she would have my number, and I still had her blocked on Facebook...opps I will have to unblock her later.

But no at I look at my phone screen it's a text from Octavia, I open up the message.

Octavia

Party at Lincoln's house tomorrow. He told me to invite you so that you could get to know people.

I hadn't spent too much time yet with Octavia since meeting her and Raven so my first day at  school, but I got a welcoming and comfortable vibe from her and Raven seemed like a good laugh, even if they hated Queen bee Lexa Woods.

Clarke

I don't really do parties, I'm more a stay home and watch a girl kind of girl.

Okay, so that woasn;t completely true. I did enjoy a good film and a cosy night in but I had a wide 'Hyde' party girl side to me that made appearances every now and again.

Octavia

Ohhh.. please come on Clarke. There are so many boys that have been asking about you. Just come!! Tell her Raven!

Raven? I'm confused for a second before I realise I'm in a group chat and Raven's name pops up under Octavia's text.

Raven

Clarke! You totally need to come. We can always set you up with a girl instead we know loads of lesbians.

Octavia

Shit! Sorry I just presumed you would be into guys. Meet whoever you want there. Raven and I are great wingwomen!

I realise quickly that no matter what I say they are going to drag me to the party whether I actually give my consent or not. I push down the uncomfortable feeling though when they mention being into girls. That's an issue I just can't deal with right now, on top of everything else.

Clarke

Fine, you win. I'll come, and I'm into guys but thanks for the options :P

Octavia

YAYYYYY! Woop! I'll pick you up at 8 tomorrow.

Raven

You think you have seen American highschool parties on TV Griffin? You have no idea how wild tomorrow night is going to be!

I chuckle at the pair of them, I secretly wonder to myself if Lexa will be going. I want to text them back and ask them but the questions that will follow aren't worth the hassle.

I hope they don't try and set me up with a guy though. I'm not ready to be with anyone... not yet.
