Chapter 24Lexa POV
Not that I doubted myself for a second, but I had managed to convince coach to let Clarke wear sleeves during matches and training. I told him that she had had an accident when she was younger and was paranoid about a scar on her arm. He bought it quite easily actually.
I couldn't wait to break the news to Clarke that she didn't have to worry anymore.
I feel upset knowing I won't see her until dinnertime, because we don't have any lessons together this morning. I just hope that this morning goes quickly.

I head to the cafeteria and see Clarke sat with the delinquents, as they like to be known. I hesitate, knowing it will be a bit awkward going over there, given a lot of them don't like me and think I'm a horrible person. But then I notice Clarke gazing around the room, asif she is looking out for someone. Hopefully me. I take that as a sign to approach the group.
"Hey Clarke" I say slyly, noticing a glare from Raven. Octavia doesn't look as pissed off with me as she normally does though. That's weird. Has Clarke told her something?
"Hey.. Lexa" SHe replies, clearly nervous sounding as though she had forgotten my name for a second.
I suddenly feel extremely awkward, as everyone else at the table is staring at the both of us. Obviously aware of how strange it was that I'd actually bothered to interact with a member of their group.
"I erm... I just wanted to let you know that Pike is on board with what we talked about" I smile at her. Her face instantly lights up and I can see the excitement in her eyes.
"Oh my god really? I can't wait to get started. Training's tonight right?" She stands up and hugs me, clearly over excited. I feel her tense as she realises what she's done and I meet the gaze of four pairs of very confused eyes.
However, Octaiva has a smirk on her face, looking at us both. She definitely knows something. I need to speak to Clarke privately about that, but I know now's not the time.
"Do you want to sit with us?" Clarke asks quickly, letting go of me.
"I don't think that's such a good idea" Raven is looking at me like she could kill me at any moment.
"It's fine. Right Raven?" The person I least expected to reply spoke up for the first time and everyone looked at Octavia in shock. Everyone in the school knew that she was my least biggest fan.
"Have you hit your head?" Raven replies. "You want Lexa freaking Woods at our dinner table, after all the shit her and her friends have put us through?" She almost yells back at Octavia.
"People can change right? Plus if she is Clarke's friend it would be rude not to let her sit down" I smile awkwardly at Octavia, before Clarke pulls me down next to her.
Raven doesn't reply, instead she turns her back to me and talks to Murphy. She's not the reason I'm here anyway, so I choose to leave it for now. Everyone else begins to talk between themselves, shrugging off how unfamiliar the situation is. Clarke turns to speak to me grinning from ear to ear.
"So how are you? I haven't heard off you since Saturday morning"
"I'm good, I just didn't want to bother you over the weekend and give you some time to process things" I told her quietly, making sure that no one else could hear me.
"You wouldn't have been bothering me, I felt bad actually at how I replied to you. It was a bit shitty" Clarke apologetically tells me. I want to grab her hand so much, but I know there is no way that I can.
