I didn't know what to make of Zander other he was an egotistical jerk. I knew I shouldn't have taken the phone that jerk just saw me as some poor scum that he left at the side of the road.
I didn't need his guilt.
Searching my room for a blank check, I hastily grabbed a pen and signing it for $1,100 that was the price of the iPhone he got he was got me.
It might be silly of me, but the deal I made was with his parents and not him. I won't let Zander gaslight me into thinking he was doing me a big favor by marrying me.
Pushing in my the check in my cross bag, and toss it around my shoulder before closing the front door and heading into the city .

I wave down a cab, and give the driver directions to the Storm company.
Where Zander humiliated me for just simply saying thanks ? Where does this guy get off ?
The cab takes me infront of the Storm Group building, I pay for the ride and walk straight to receptionist.
"Excuse me?" I try to get her attention.
She ignores me, and doesn't look up from her desktop.
"Where can I drop this off ?" I wave the check around .
She gives me I can't be bothered look , sluggish answering the question.
'All documents have to be left off at the mailroom." She points her finger to a sign with directions to different departments in the building.
I scoff, leaving the desk to go and check where in building the mailroom exist.
Seeing that mailroom is on the third floor, I look for the elevator to go up to the level but it's already full.
I sigh, knowing that I'll have to take the stairs.
Later after almost two heart attacks from climbing the staircase. I find myself on the third floor, where scores of employees were working in a rush.
I could hardly find someone to point me to the mailroom .
Finally I see a man carrying a computer, and walk up to him.
"Excuse me," I touch him on the shoulder."Can you show to the mailroom ?" I ask.
He looks at me as if he was surprised someone was talking to him . "What do you want ?" He glances me over .
