I hate the idea of leaving my mate for anything, I know she is a vicious predator, and she is with Drake but still I worry. I sighed as Randy, and I shifted and began running towards my pack I knew we had a long way to go since our pack is at least an hour and a half from the cabin. I go to the cabin what that snarky bitch Camren kept trying to get touchy with me. I couldn't stand her touching me and now I know why. I even remember about three years ago as our parents continued to try and push us together, I was in bed when I heard something, and she had snuck into my bedroom. Let's just say I was not interested in girls yet; I was more interested in training and guy things that did not include girls.
As I heard the noise, I sat up in bed noticing her standing at the end of my bed looking at me with a wide grin. I looked at her in disgust and wondered why she was in my room. Yes, I was sixteen, but I still was focusing fully on my training knowing I was going to be the Alpha of the pack when I turned eighteen.
"What are you doing in my room?" I growled out.
"You do know we don't have to wait until you become Alpha...don't you. Our parents would be so happy if we mated now also." She seductively said.
"Get out! You can get that idea out of your head; I won't even mate you when I do take the Alpha position." I spat at her.
"Oh, our parents already have an arrangement, they have since we were pups. I am to be your mate." She grinned out proudly.
"I will be waiting for my mate, not for second best!" I snarked out at her.
"Well, that is just too bad everything is already set in place my parents told me when I was ten about it." She smiled happily.
I shook my head not believing what I was hearing, how could my own parents try and strip me from the ability to find my mate...the one who is actually my mate? I felt something in me at that very minute that wanted to kill her if she did not get out of my room that moment. I guess I should have just acted on it then I wouldn't need to worry about her now. I grinned and laughed out at the thought as I felt something nudge me. I turned and saw Randy looking at me wondering what was going through my mind.
"When I was sixteen Carmen came in my room thinking she would mate me then. I had wanted to kill her then if she dint get out...I thought if I had I wouldn't have to worry about her now." I laughed out.
"That's true enough." He laughed.
As we grew closer to my pack, I saw many warriors running around as if something was wrong, I wondered why no one linked Randy or I if something happened. As I began walking through the pack everyone bowed their heads to me as I grabbed a frantic warrior who was running by.
