I hate remembering that night, because that was the last time, I saw my little sister for six months and nothing had told me to me other than she went to our uncle's pack for a while. I felt the sorrow of the next morning when I found out she was already gone without me being able to see her, I reached out and took my sisters hand into my own as she looked at me with questioning eyes. When they locked with mine, she knew what I was remembering, and she let out a sigh.

"I am here now...don't think about then please sis. I am here now, and I am not going anywhere, I promise." She said as she held my hand rubbing her thumb over the top of my hand.

I nodded as I fought back the tears, I could feel building with a choked up feeling in my throat. I sighed out as I got to my feet knowing I wanted to do something fun and that's when I thought of it. The stream...we hadn't been there in forever and it was always a blast when we went down there and tubed down the stream. My eyes twinkled at them, no not with tears.

They all grinned and stood up quickly as we all began running for our house where there were tubes and floats in the shed behind the main house. As we reached the shed, we pulled the doors open seeing our old tubes and floats we used in the stream every year...why has it been so long I wonder. I grabbed ahold of a tire tube while my sister grabbed a float she could lay out on and Tiff grabbed a float as well, I guess they weren't happy with rings today.

I laughed to myself because that is all they use to use are the rings, how times change. We checked the air pressure in them and threw mine over my shoulder and they carried theirs at their side, I ran off towards the stream. I so wanted to get in the cool water, and now the water was moving at a nice pace. Yes, we would ride the stream down a way and run back and do it all over again or get in water fights with other pack members, us kids had a blast.

As I arrived at the edge of the stream, I noticed a few teens which were werewolf males on the other side of the stream, I looked at them not remembering any of them from our pack. This stream is on our pack lands so no other werewolf should be here if they aren't part of our pack. I linked Tiff letting her know there were some male werewolves here and I don't recognize them...perhaps she would.

I stepped into the water at the edge of the stream as they locked their eyes on me, I looked at them and squinted at them wondering why they were staring at me. I was beginning to get an uneasy feeling by how they were staring at me. I did notice they were all wet, so they had come here to swim but did they have ulterior motives along with swimming?

As Tiff and Lauren arrived at the streams edge, they noticed the male werewolves standing there as their eyes never left us. I am tempted to link Drake about these werewolves but who knows we could make some new friends in the process. We climbed into the water fully and climbed on our tube and floats and began flowing down the stream as we giggled and talked with each other.

I am thankful the stream was deeper so we can do this, a shallow one we wouldn't be able to have this kind of fun. As we got further downstream, we noticed several werewolves along the streams end just within the trees. I looked at Lauren and Tiff with a concerned expression they returned the look of concern about what would happen next.

"Girls, do you think we should link Drake about these werewolves, there's more within the trees?" I asked.

They nodded their heads at me so I knew they must have been feeling uncomfortable as well being in this situation where we are surrounded by unknown werewolves. Their scents did not resemble ones of rogues, but I couldn't place what pack they belonged to either.

   "Drake?" I called out.

"Yes Miss, what's wrong I hear concern in your voice?" He asked.

"There are many werewolves near the stream, they are at the shore and within the woods...the ones in the woods are in their wolf form. I don't think they are from our pack; we are feeling not so safe at the moment. Can you come with some warriors please and check them out?" I almost pleaded with him.

I heard a growl through the link then it went silent so I knew he was linking other warriors and instructing them to gather as they would be on their way to come to our location. As we reached down the stream about half a mile from where we had started, we climbed out and began walking up the stream again hoping Drake and the other warriors would be there by the time we arrived back there.

When we grew closer, we noticed several werewolves on our side as well, we hesitantly walked through the woods along the stream knowing they could attack at any moment. As we reached the spot where we began, we noticed many more werewolves gathered on the other side of the stream all talking amongst themselves as they looked at us.

Something was odd though, there was a strong scent of clove and cinnamon blowing gently across the stream as my wolf began to stir and I felt drawn to it even more. I inhaled deeply as the scent filled my lungs, my head tilting back embracing the scent that filled me.

"It's our mate!" My wolf called out.

I knew if she sensed our mate, it must have been someone among all of the werewolves from the other side. I wanted to find out and without thinking about it I began walking towards the waters edge my eyes scanning through the werewolves yet not seeing the one that holds that invisible tether to me. I began crossing the stream as I felt large arms wrap around me dragging me backwards back to the edge of the streams. I growled wanting to find my mate, when who ever grabbed me spun me around and looked deep in my eyes. Drake looked at me with confusion as he pushed me gently back into another set of waiting arms.

"Watch her, keep her with you while we deal with this...do not let her go!" Drake told the warrior.

I struggled in his arms as his grip became even tighter as my claws extended as my wolf was going wild, she dug her claws in the warriors arms out as he growled. I screamed out trying to get free as my best friend and sister watched on when I noticed their expression change.

"Dad's here!" My sister whispered out.

I didn't care if my father was here, I wanted my mate so I screamed out louder hoping my mate would hear me. Suddenly a loud growl ripped through the trees on our side and as the warrior looked over, he was ripped from me. Muscular arms wrapped around me pulling me into the trees as his scent swirled around me, I knew who it was. My mate!

   "Mine!" He growled out lowly.
