I looked at Drake's father with a curious expression wondering what he was referring to, his face still laced with fear and confusion.

"What are you talking about Alpha?" I questioned him with confusion.

"Well, you turned not yourself...you ...well to be honest my dear you can be scary no offense. I personally have never seen one before but in truth it is amazing to say the least. There have only been very few reports of this occurring and the last one was very long ago." He informed me with an expression crossed with fear and confusion.

Why is he not coming out and telling me? He is talking in riddles which does not help me know why he feared me, why would an Alpha werewolf fear an Alpha female in such a way? My mind wandering trying to think back to what was said about primal but none of it seemed to match up with what he was saying...my mind ran circles trying to comprehend what he was trying to say.

"You have never seen what, Alpha?" I questioned, filled with confusion.

"A Lycan my dear, you are a Lycan!" His voice trembled out.

"Father does this mean Kade, and I are as well considering we both have this primal side?" Drake asked his father.

"To be honest son, I am not sure...I think the utter rage she felt about Dianna touching you and hurting you is what triggered it. Now, if someone endangered Claire I can not say for sure that you would shift. It is so rare not much is known about it...only a few reports have been made in over a hundred years of Lycan's." The Alpha informed.

Drake nodded to his father, yet I could see the confusion written on his face, he was worried not only about me, but I am sure he was wondering if he was going to turn into some beast that would give anyone nightmares. I laughed to myself; well, I am a nightmare bringing beast...yay me. I then realized I hadn't blocked our link, so my mates knew what I was thinking, sigh.

"No worries, mate, you are my beast...Our love will never change just because you do." Kade laughed through our link.

I scowled at him but couldn't help but laugh as his statement, my mates truly did love me regardless. No matter if I was a frothing at the mouth beast waiting to tear someone's throat out or my innocent self...well not that innocent I grinned as I looked at my mates. We knew we needed to have a talk with the Alpha, so we all settled down onto the couches, my mates at my sides.

"Dad, I am ready to take my position as the Alpha of the pack. I would like to see us do it soon, we have things we need to attend to back near Claire's pack as well. I will want to take some warriors with us when we head back there. I want to bring the three packs to function as one pack just in different locations. Kade is the Alpha of the Rockland pack, and Claire is the next Alpha of the Whispering Moon Pack. Yes, I know she will be the first female Alpha, but with us together we would be in control of all three packs as mates." He informed his father.

His father looked at him in disbelief not sure what to say, he turned to look at his mate then directed his attention back onto us.

"Yes, I agree merging the packs would be a good thing in the fact the numbers would be a strong force when needed. Are you honestly prepared to take on three packs, do you have any idea how much responsibility is involved with being the Alpha of this pack, let alone any other one?" He questioned Drake.

Suddenly his gaze turned to Kade, as a wary look crossed his face...I can understand he knew nothing of Kade or who he was even.

"No offense to you...Kade yet what are your thoughts on all of this that has been occurring?" He asked Kade.

"If you want me to be honest with you, I think merging the packs would be beneficial to all of us...on a personal note I want to ensure our mates safety and that of our packs as well. The father of the mate my parents arranged for me will be less than pleased if he lives that is." Kade replied with a scowl.

"Let me interject here, you have a chosen mate along with Claire?" His face turned to one of rage as he asked.

"My parents wanted me to mate her, I denied. She currently is locked up in the cells at Claire's pack, she will not accept Claire as my mate...not that she has a choice." He deadpanned.

I could see the Alpha thinking things over, yet I didn't see the certainty from him regarding Drake taking his rightful place as the Alpha. I knew he had a lot of information he needed to think about so I figured I could get the guys away from the house for a bit giving him some needed time to go over the information he now had. I won't deny it seemed like he was a bit reluctant in the idea but who knows, perhaps that is always his persona.

"Guys, let give him a bit to think and discuss this with his mate...why don't we go for a walk?" I posed to my mates.

They nodded to me as we all turned and headed for the door hearing someone standing up behind us, we glanced over our shoulders to find the Alpha facing us.

"Do you honestly feel you can take this responsibility on Drake?" He asked.

"Yes, dad I do...remember I will not be doing it alone. There are three of us and we can handle it, while we are away from Claire's pack her father can stand in, while away from Kade...we will appoint someone we trust. We aren't alone in this, we know the amount of responsibility it will take, and we are thankful for her parents and you and mother, father. We know if we are away from the pack, you all will be able to handle anything that comes." Drake informed him.

His father nodded to us as we walked out of the front door of the large grand house, I took a deep breath of the crisp air. I noticed some walking around as they noticed us, they bowed their heads in respect then venturing off to do their tasks at hand. I don't agree with how Drake's father does things, but I know regardless of what I thought it wouldn't change the mind of the Alpha either way.

What I want to know...are my mates Lycan beasts as well? I felt myself almost purr as my cheeks heated at the thought, as I heard my mates growl low and laugh in amusement.
