Chapter 16(Sakura's POV)
Waking up to an alarm clock instead of a bucket of cold water, was something I could get use to. I don't know what was going on with John yesterday, but I hope it lasts.
After getting up and putting on some clothes for school, I quickly headed downstairs to have breakfast. My parents and John were already there, eating eggs and bacon. Shooting a quick glance into my direction, John diverted his attention back onto whatever my mother was nagging about.
Avoidance is better then harassment, in my opinion. I didn't expect him to suddenly want to be my big brother again and hang out with me like a long lost best friend. At least he doesn't look at me in complete and udder disgust anymore. Maybe one day, I'll have my big brother back.
Heading back to school was nerve wracking. Naruto was no where in sight and as I approached my locker, I noticed a figure leaning against it.
There was Sasuke, in his tight black jeans and a ripped, blue shirt. The girls surrounding my locker automatically adjusted their bras and hitched up their skirts. Flushing from their intense glares, I stared at my feet and let my hair cover me like a curtain. I slowly made my way through the crowd, ignoring the girl's angry sneers. Apparently I wasn't fast enough, because a cold hand quickly grabbed my wrist and yanked me away from the area.
Tingles flared up my arm from his touch and I couldn't help but risk a quick glance at his face. Expressionless would probably have been the word I had chosen if there wasn't a hint of a smile edging at the corner of his lips. His jet black hair intensified his seemingly black, eyes. I'm guessing the actual color is a dark brown but it would have to be the darkest shade of brown, known to man.
I was too busy being entranced by his flawless perfection, to even notice that he had stopped walking and was staring at me. Blushing, my eyes widened as I looked around and noticed we were in the roof of the school.
He stepped closer to me and my breath hitched when the smell of mint and man, filled my senses. Sasuke refused to break eye contact as he took another step closer, the tips of our noses touching.
"What has Itachi told you?"
And just like that, I was snapped out of the trance.
"Nothing, I don't even know why he had locked us in there."
Sasuke's eyes darkened and a hint of a sneer climbed onto his face,
"He was just meddling in my business. That's all."
Still embarrassed by our close proximity, I hesitantly took a step back. Only to be grabbed by my arm and yanked into his firm chest. Leaning down, he whispered into my ear,
"I don't remember allowing you to move Pinky."
Before I could say another word, he pulled back just enough so that he could crash his lips onto mine. Sparks flew and I was silently freaking out over my inexperience in the "kissing" department. But all thoughts flew out of my mind when he roughly grabbed my hair and slammed our lips back together with an all new intensity.
What does this kiss mean?
