Chapter 14

(Sakura's POV)

Oh my gosh.

The glass shattered as Sasuke made contact with the window. My mouth was dropped open in horror as I pinned my gaze towards the little shards stuck onto his arm. Without so much as a blink of an eye, he threw the easel leg onto the ground and reached his arm through the broken window.

The large shards of glass on the windowsill cut into the flesh of his arm but he made it seem as if he couldn't feel it at all. Even when little drops of blood started to appear as he strained to reach the lock on the other side of the window.

Furrowing my eyebrows in concern, I clenched my fist in attempt to restrain from reaching out and aiding to his wounds. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't appreciate me touching him when he is working so hard on concentrating so that he can get out of here. Sasuke didn't seem like a people person and yet, everyone in the school knew his name. While I am either completely ignored or pushed around like a personal punching bag.

A faint "Click," resounded through the room and Sasuke was quick to steel his shoulders and yank the door open, paying no mind to his fresh wounds. I ran up to him, following his footsteps.

"Wait! YOUR INJURED STILL!" My cry was promptly ignored as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and hastily walked out the front doors of the school. Staring after him, a grin tempted the corners of my mouth before I let out a sigh and decided to go home early. Might as well deal with my brother rather than now.

The voices have been really quiet lately, but usually they stay in the back of my head and insult me. It was kind of strange considering I haven't heard any of them since I was in the Art Room with the Sasuke. The fact was kind of unnerving and I couldn't help the shiver that ran through my body.

I couldn't tell if it was from fear or something else.
