*Three Years Later*
(Y/n)'s POV:
"It's a pleasure to give this certificate to one of the best students in this college. Ladies and gentleman, (Y/n) (Your last name)!" The principal said. I smiled, I got up from my seat and went upstage. When I was upstage receiving my graduation certificate, my English degree, I looked at my parents who were smiling at me, clapping with proudness, other families were applauding, too. "Congratulations, (Y/n). You made it, I know you're going be a great author." The principal said. "Thank you, Mr. Hoult. It's an honor to be here with all of you, with my family, my friends, my principal, my teachers, my classmates. I share this degree with all of you, thanks for the support. I love each and everyone of you." I smiled once again. I heard and saw everyone giving me a round of applause."Oh, my God, (Y/n)! Congrats!" Rydel said hugging me once she saw me and I was outside of school. "Thank you so much, Rydel." I smiled. We cut the hug off. My parents congratulated me too. Stormie, Mark, Rocky, Riker, Ryland, Ratliff, too and...
"Ross." I said softly. "Hi, (Y/n)." He smiled. That smile that always made my day. One of the things that made me fall for him. "Hi..." I said...shyly? What? "Congrats, you deserve it."
I was going to say 'Thanks' but he hugged me really tight. I hugged him back too. I couldn't blame him, three years without seeing each other since what happened...was an eternity. "I missed you." He said. "I missed you, too." I whispered.Ross is now 22 and I'm 21 years old. We're pretty old, haha, just kidding.
Before the graduation, three years ago someone called my phone, it was an unknown number. So I decided not to answer the call. Four minutes later, the same unknown number called me again. I didn't answer.
Ten minutes later they were still calling, I still didn't answer. I gotta say that, I started to get like nervous and curious about what they wanted and who they were. But the next day, they called again. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to answer.
"Hello." I said calmly. "It's so nice to hear your angelical voice." I could tell it was a guy...but I didn't know who it was and his voice sounded deep and ...attractive. "Who is this?" I asked him. "Your boyfriend." He replied. "Ross?" I asked confused. I gotta say that I was kind of hoping that it was him. "That's right." He said. "Ross...you're not my boyfriend anymore." I said. "You know...I was thinking about it, about when you got mad at me for something I didn't even do. About when you told me to leave to Cali and everything but you know something?" He asked. "What...?" I asked. "You and I never actually broke up." He said. "What do you mean? Of course we did." I said. "Nope. I don't remember you saying, 'We're breaking up.' 'We're not a couple anymore.' 'Our relationship is over...' ...you never said anything like that." I didn't know what to say...he was right. "Come on, (Y/n). If you know it's true...why don't you break up with me now?" I still didn't say anything. My heart was beating faster than usual. He really makes me nervous. "Oh, I know why..." He added. "Why?" I asked, trying to get ready for his answer. "Because you love me. No matter what, you always will." He is so right.
