I went to school and saw Ross, during the day we didn't talk, we just...smiled and stared at each other the whole time. But we asked each other a "how are you?" and answering with a "I'm fine, thanks you."

So I was at home, getting ready for the party at school.
I got there and the party was at the big main gym from the school. I heard there was going be a lot of broken rules tonight; one of them was not to bring any alcohol....they broke that rule too and some other rules that I ain't going to mention.

(Narrator's POV: Me)
Ross got to school along with his younger brother Ryland, although Ryland didn't go to that school, he just wanted to go flirt with any girl there. Ross was looking for (Y/n) but he couldn't find her anywhere. (Y/n) was talking with some of her friends laughing and having fun until one of them offers her a drink, she said no, why? Because she's smart enough to know that it had alcohol in it so instead of drinking anything from there, she brought a water bottle with her.

While Ross was looking for her, instead of finding her, he found Catherine kissing another guy.
"Catherine!?" He asked yelling so she could hear him because the music there was way too loud. Catherine separated from the guy. "Ross! It's not what it looks like!" She said nervously and panicking. "It is totally what it looks like. You been cheating on me! You know what? This is over!!" Ross was now mad. "What!? No!! You can't do this to me!! Nobody brakes up with me, I BREAK THEM UP!" She yelled. "Well, here's a news flash: I'm in love with someone else and...I guess I'm the first one to break you up, bye bye." Ross smiled with that sarcastic smile on his lips, turned around and then tried to calm down a little. He felt disappointed, not because he loved Catherine. Actually... he never felt something for her, he just went out with her to see if (Y/n) might've do something about it, like to get jealous or get between them. But he realized that she would never do something like that to Ross, her best friend, why? Because she wanted to see him happy and he knew that.
He just felt more bad and sorry about himself because all the time that he could've spent it with (Y/n)...just wasted it on Catherine.
"I'm going to get a drink, I need one, just one." He said to himself. But that 'just one' drink turned out to be more and more, and so he got drunk for not having (Y/n).
....Just having her as his best friend, he started to want her to be more than friends.
